I bought this for my toddler who's having some sensory issues. He really loves it! At first he didn't want to touch the squishy alien, but eventually warmed up to it, which is what sensory therapy is all about! I love that the lid to the plastic tub snaps on and is really secure because sometimes my tot likes to grab the tub and haul it to me when he wants to play with it. Imagine the mess if the lid went flying! This is a really well thought out sensory kit with lots of different textures. My 2.5 year old toddler loves it! Has a great variety of sensory items and it's super easy to use. It is a daily favorite in our household and makes for a great gift! The rocks are very small (the size of fish tank rocks) so keep a close eye when using with young children.

I was looking for more sensory bin ideas that don’t include sand (too messy for me!!) and loved that this one was rocks. My daughter is very into space right now and loves it! It really encourages creative play which is so important to me as well. We love it so much we bought one for a birthday gift for our neighbor as well! In my opinion, it doesn’t come with enough rocks. Although, if your child is new to sensory bins it’ll probably be plenty. My daughter loves having a lot of stuff to mess with so I went to PetSmart and got some fish bowl rocks to add and it’s perfect! ... show more

I bought more rocks from the pet store for the money you should get more rocks but overall it's been an entertaining purchase for my son. It keeps him entertained for hours and also has taught him to clean up when the rocks spill out of the container.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this sensory bin to keep my toddler busy while indoors, he loves it and keeps him busy for hours. I do supervise to make sure he does not put anything in his mouth. We have had it for a few months now and still his go to activity

    • Great Idea, not enough gravel
This would be perfect if there was more gravel. It was a bummer to open it and see that the gravel barely covers the bottom of the bin… My 2 year old likes it, but it would be just as easy to buy your own ingredients and make your own sensory bin
