This is a large buffalo check pattern--therefore, it's a given that the pattern should line up because it will be side by side with another. But this did not line up with the package of two by the same vendor. I need 3 valances for 3 side by side windows. So I need 3 of the valances' pattern to line up. They don't. This is really disappointing. Not sure if I should order another and maybe it will line up or send them all back. The pattern isn't as shown in the description picture, either, because the white stripe is on top, not the black. With regard to quality, the quality is good. Not great, but good. If your window gets a lot of sun and the valance won't be on the wall (but hanging over the window), you won't be able to see the pattern with the backlighting. A solution could be to let your blinds down behind them so the backlighting will be blocked. That's what I had planned to do, although I don't like that I won't then be able to control the sun on the rest of the window. Not ideal. You could also line them, but that's more expense and work. ... show more

This is super cute and almost exactly what I hoped for. I love the grommet, it's hard to find with buffalo check patterns. It is not white, more of a creamy, almost yellowish. Still because if the style I am going to keep it. It is also quite thin. It's a nice linen material but it's very see through when the sun is shinning, almost so you can't even tell the pattern of the buffalo check. It is very well made though. Beautiful valences. They are not very thick material and feel like a think linen, but the grommets are very nice quality. They were what you would expect for the price. They made a huge difference in my kitchen to brighten it up.
