I cut it with a rotary cutter and though it’s thick, the edges stay sharp and clean without fraying immediately! This ribbon is a little stiffer/sturdier than what I can find at the local craft stores. So far it has been by far my favorite to use. I read several reviews where they had received rolls that had been stitched together. I order a roll of black and a roll of white ribbon and found that not to be the case this time. I make cheer bows, and the thickness and stiffness of this ribbon is the best I have found. BUT, it is wider that 3”. The first time I used it, I cut my HTV to 3” to put on the ribbon, and the ribbon stuck out because it is actually 3 1/8”.
