Features

  • The Carbon Fiber Difference: Carbon fiber grit is the optimal choice of material for serious pickleball paddles. Not only does it produce insane amounts of spin, but it also creates a massive sweet spot with the perfect balance of power and control.
  • Updated Design: The CRBN2 Pickleball Paddle features the same carbon fiber face and honeycomb core as the CRBN1, but now with a shorter handle, and a shorter, wider face than the CRBN1. The result is a wider sweet spot instead of a longer one.
  • 16mm For Control: The thickest core in the CRBN lineup, the 16mm is ideal for players who want a bit of a softer feel around the net. USAPA Approved and ready to take on your next tournament.
  • Paddle Dimensions: Length: 15.75" / Width: 8" / Core Thickness: 16mm / Handle length: 4.75a / Handle Grip Circumference: 4.25" / Weight: 7.8-8.1 oz
  • Cover Included: Every CRBN Paddle comes with a Neoprene Paddle Cover. Combine with our paddle eraser (search "CRBN eraser") to keep your paddle looking like new.

  • Good paddle for someone who consistently hits the sweet spot
Style: CRBN1 13mm Thick - White
I have about 10 hours of play with this paddle now. I have been playing with one of the newer thermoformed carbon paddles that has a similar shape with same length but slightly wider at 7.5" instead of 7.25". By comparison, this paddle has a softer feel despite the thinner 13mm core. It came in at 7.8 oz but after an initial test I added lead tape taking the weight up to 9.2oz to add some stability and a bit of power. At this weight I felt like this paddle played much better for me. It still has less power than my other paddle, but there were times where I would have hit balls out with my other paddle while I was able to keep the same shots in with this one. Spin is fairly close to my other paddle which is very good in both cases. I felt like I gained back a little more control with this paddle which has been a plus. On the downside though, I found the sweet spot to be a bit small with a very noticeable drop in paddle response outside of the sweet spot. It is really obvious if you don't hit the sweet spot. I think the 16mm version would be more forgiving if given the choice. ... show more

  • Solid paddle with grip for spin and good power
Style: CRBN2 13mm Thick - White
Like any paddle, much will be personal preference. This paddle is a nice all-around design that has nice feel and good power, and a grippy surface that allow for good spin and control. The grip is just the right length and is not too long or too short like some I've used. I recognize most the solid feel when I strike the ball as opposed to many of the less expensive paddles. I plan to replace the wrap on the grip itself. It's not bad, it's just not as nice or thick as I would prefer (personal preference again). Quality of materials and construction is very nice and I have zero complaints. Definitely recommend but it may not be ideal for every player or every players type of game. ... show more

  • Nice light weight paddle
Style: CRBN2 13mm Thick - White
This paddle performs with precision. It is a light weight paddle and responds well. I like the control I have with this paddle. I highly recommend. The game is quick and the response from this paddle will not disappoint. Enjoy playing with this paddle.

  • Great paddle that comes with a slip cover
Style: CRBN1 13mm Thick - White
This is my favorite paddle. The handle is very comfortable and high-grip, the surface allows for very high spin returns, but overall it's about the same as the other carbon surface paddles, however it is a little bit thinner than some of the other options. The paddle surface is made of a woven carbon fiber surface that has a lot of tack to it and gives you a very high amount of friction, much more than the fiberglass paddles which are almost slippery. The shape of the paddle is a little flatter at the top than some of the other paddles in my collection. And on a side note, what does it take to get a USA Pickleball paddle approved? It seems like the only thing they're concerned with is that the paddle isn't too long, and a they are very concerned with surface issues. Outside of the finish material meeting very specific conditions, there are very few restrictions on what will qualify for approval. The restrictions are simply that printing must be in "good taste", surfaces can't be reflective as to distract/blind the opponent. There are no weight restrictions, no thickness restrictions, they don't even have a standardized shape. ... show more

  • Sweet Paddle, Steep Price
Style: CRBN1 13mm Thick - White
For starters, I love pickleball and I'd consider myself an intermediate level player who would enter the occasional low key tourney. This paddle is NOT an entry level paddle. This is a full carbon fiber paddle that plays really nice. Great feel off the ball, the textured carbon face provides a great level of spin control, and the extended handle makes 2 handed shots possible if desired. Black on black look is sleek and the performance matches the paddle's look well. No real complaints on the paddle itself, but pricing is the challenge. For the past year my go-to paddle has been a quality (I won't name the brand out of respect to this manufacturer) name brand in the $80 range. It's not carbon fiber and it doesn't have the extended handle, but otherwise it plays very, very similar to this one. While there is a lot to like in this paddle, it's hard for me to justify the additional $100 at the current $180 price point they are asking for. Not sure what else you are getting for the money other than the full carbon fiber, which if the performance doesn't change dramatically, what's the need? Maybe there is a better player out there that can explain what I may be missing, but those are my honest thoughts on this one. ... show more

  • T700 carbon fiber for under $200!
Style: CRBN1 13mm Thick - White
Pro lever performance at an intermediate level cost. The ball really pops off this paddle. The handle fits my hand nicely, even before applying the overgrip. The shape and handle length is very similar to what I was using before, so there wasn't a huge learning curve for me. My old paddle didn't have any friction to the surface, so it's not much easier for me to put spin on the ball. I like the look of this paddle. I looks more professional than some of the more whimsical designs that are popular. ... show more

  • Good power and control
Style: CRBN1 13mm Thick - White
Update: I've now been able to compare the CRBN 1 and the CRBN 2. They are very similar in all aspects. The only difference is the dimensions. 1 is longer and skinnier. 2 is shorter and wider. Both are solid paddles. Sadly, neither one fixes all my unforced errors :) I'm a good intermediate player and have been happy with inexpensive carbon fiber or graphite paddles. This is the first expensive paddle I've owned. It has a great feel, is lightweight, and I played well with it. I was happy with both the power and the control. Like all sports equipment, there's always something newer and better coming to the marketplace and there's always customers willing to buy the latest and greatest. If that's you, I don't think you'll be disappointed with a CRBN paddle. This model has a thinner depth which offers more power in theory. I really couldn't tell much of a difference, but my opponent was impressed. Of course, since sports is 80+% mental, if you think having a higher quality racquet will improve your game, it probably will. ... show more
