In my opinion, these are really great cases. After I purchased a red one for myself, I was so impressed I got a second one in blue, and bought the gray one for my mom. Pros: 1. The two layers are assembled in the optimal configuration, with the softer rubber layer inside to be the shock-absorber, and the protective hard shell on the outside. They fit together snugly. 2. The hard shell is textured, but also has a soft coating over it. it both feels nice, and has a little extra grip to the surface. I've been using the cases for over a month now, and I carry my phone in my pockets; the corners of the hard shell haven't changed color or stained so far. (The blue case is very light, so it would be really obvious if it had.) 3. The lip of the softer layer that surrounds the screen is rubbery, and it's what really gives your fingertips some purchase. 4. The buttons have a nice clicky feel to them. The charging cutout on the bottom edge hasn't had any problems accommodating any of the three cables I've used with my phone. 5. The edges that surround the screen and the camera cutout are both raised a little bit to protect the glass surfaces from scratches. Also, the camera cutout is big enough that it doesn't interfere with the sensor operation. 6. I've had several counter-height drops onto linoleum, carpet, and wood flooring. The phone has been protected, and the case didn't get scuffed or marked up. 7. Not plain, but not busy. The branding is there if you look for it, but it doesn't stand out or ruin the lines of the case. Cons: A. I don't use any magnetic accessories, but some people might want that, and there isn't a magnet in the case. B. The colors aren't especially BRIGHT. The red is definitely red, but it's a demure red. The blue is so pale, if I didn't know the color I bought, it would be hard to name it. The price seems very reasonable for the quality you get. Recommended with no reservations. ... show more

I love it! When I bought my iPhone 16e, I bought a Crave Navy phone case. It worked well but I had trouble finding my phone on dark surfaces and in the depths of my navy or black handbags. Someone recommended getting a light colored phone case because she had the same problem until she got a white case. Problem solved! My new case is a pretty color with a raised maroon edge that protect the screen if it falls face down. Plus, the back of the case is textured which helps me to grip it. ... show more

I had no problems with the buttons, as mentioned in other reviews. I usually choose black because I prefer a subtle, discreet case.
