I've always been a fan of Craftsman tools, more so the hand tools than their power tools. The specs on this impact driver seemed good: a brushless motor with a 20V battery. I am surprised by how compact it is. The battery charger is also rather small, smaller than the battery itself. But the charger has large indicator lights that clearly shows when it's charging and when the battery is topped off. The battery is only 1.5AH so it won't last very long, depending on what you're driving and into what. I wouldn't try to build a deck with it, but it's probably fine for a tire rotation. I appreciate the little LED light below the chuck. This definitely doesn't compare to my more powerful Dewalt impact driver, but I didn't get it to do the jobs I use that one for. I got it for light duty tasks around the garage and house. I'll eventually hand this off to one of the kids when they move out. It's a perfectly fine beginner tool. ... show more
