This is why you buy a Craftman. I have 4 other levelers in different sizes & different makes. 3 of them have inaccurate level reading when placed on a certain side. This cause problems for me as I would forget to check both sides for accuracy & would occasionally use a wrong reading. I started marking the sides to know which was the good side. Finally, after another wrong reading I decided to buy this craftman leveler 3 months ago. I have used it & tested it periodically & have always received a good reading, no matter what side I use. The level is nice and compact, but my only complaint is the magnet doesn't hold very well. It's enough to keep it upright when laid horizontal, but I wouldn't trust it too well vertically.

I have used Craftsman tools since I was a kid working with my dad. We used to go to the local Sears store and I would browse the aisles to look at all the cool stuff. This small torpedo level is classic Craftsman; good design, accuracy and a good value. Readability is easy from a variety of angles or positions.
