I was hoping for a higher quality magnet to replace my harbor freight magnets but this wasn't it. The telescope and handle is stronger than HF but the magnet is pretty weak. I will pick up a 3/8 ratchet, no problem.

Anything that keeps me from having to crack anything with arthritis just to pick up a screw or nut is a win in my book. Pole extended could be about a foot longer but it does its job. Happy with it.
