This kit was filled with quality craft supplies. It was organized well with the supplies for each animal bagged separately making it easy to share with several children. I loved that they included several needles both plastic and metal as well as needle threaders. To improve this product, I would add something to support the necks. They are a little weak. I took the kit camping with my nieces, nephews and grand children. All the kids loved making the animals. Everything we needed was included in the one box.

I have not used it yet I just snapped some pictures to share for those interested with the box contents. We will be using this as a fun homeschool activity for December so I am not ready to use it but everything appears to be inside the box and instructions seems simple. The thickness of the animals seems to be similar to that of the thickest cardstock paper. Definitely not something to toss about like a stuffed animal more gentle play. There is a small amount of stuffing to lightly pad a few of the animals tails or bodies. My idea was to let them hang on the bottom branches of our Christmas tree. I would gift this to a child. UPDATE My kids ages 11, 9 and 6 enjoyed this. My 6 year old helped thread his own animal which was the deer. I got them all started but my 11 and 9 year went on to complete 2 animals, needing no help with their second one. There are 4 difficulty levels, hedge hog/owl level 1, bear was the only level 2, bunny/deer level 3, squirrel/raccoon level 4 and the fox is 5. My only gripe is that the way they teach you to thread the needle caused the thread to fall out with every hole you went through. You can see how they taught it in the instructions manual picture I shared. I went ahead and taught my kids to run the thread around the needle 3x and slide the knot down because that's how I was taught. We still had enough thread to use on all the animals, doubling it. You could use whatever way you know how. Total time for a critter beyond level 1 seemed to be about 30minutes.

Really impressed with this kit! Very cute product and good quality. My 8 year old granddaughter absolutely loved it- such fun projects to do together. She didn’t have any problems with it except tying the knots when done. Highly recommend

These are really cute and well made. I got them for my 13-year-old granddaughter, who’s very crafty and used to sewing things and putting crafts together, to make for her 2 year old sister. They were a little bit difficult to get started, and my 13-year-old granddaughter thought that 7 would be way too young for these to make on their own. But they came out super cute and the baby absolutely loves them.

The sewing instruction booklet starts with the easiest creature (Hedgehog) which is great for beginning sewers. Steps and pictures were simple for a first-grade reader. The sturdy box holds finished and unfinished contents. High quality fabric and granddaughter was happy with the results.
