These are awesome pants for skate skiing, and would likely be great for cycling as well. Keep in mind that you'll probably want order a size larger than you would in other brands (as mentioned in the item description). They're a narrower waist and longer leg. I normally wear a medium (32" waist, 34" inseam), however a medium in these are too snug for me. I could technically use them, but they fit more like a Medium-Small in the waist.
