This smells so bad in my opinion. I just poured the liquid out. Beautiful though Update: even after pouring the liquid out it still had the strongest odor, it's enough to make your head hurt. I rinsed out the container with dish soap, lysol and now I have a mixture of fabric softener and water in there to help mask what odor is left. Lol NOW it's a million times better!! ... show more

Got one and now I am addicted. Love this smell!!!!! ALOT!!! AND it’s so fragrant. To refresh it, I turn the reeds around. I get so many compliments on the smell of them! It’s a beautiful piece however I bought primarily to give the bathroom a nice natural fresh scent. Looking at another review the guy said he had two “straws” in and it was too fragrant. I started with one to see how that would do. Couldn’t really smell it. Added two more making 3 in now. Still couldn’t really smell it. Gave it some time maybe 4 days to see if it just needed to make its way up the straw. Still nothing. Added the remaining “straws” and a week later you can still only smell it from at best 6 inches away. I have a sensitive nose. Maybe my “straws” aren’t absorbent enough or they need to supply better “straws”. Gotta go back to the plug in one. Still keeping it as a decorative piece though ... show more
