I didn't read what was all included when I ordered this, so I was surprised when I got the cutting board as well as the metal ruler. What I honestly liked most is that it all came in a fairly sturdy blue zippered bag. Everything fits well inside of it, and all the knives and blades stay in a ziplock type bag. It'll be awhile before I use all these blades, but so far so good. Well worth the money!

The are a bit on the cheap side as the handles are very light. Not like any exacto style blade you may have used before. The mat is all in mm so it is useless for those of us who use inches.

I get a bit disgusted these days when every half-baked product calls itself "premium". I was just looking for some replacements for my getting-well-worn craft knives. This kit was well priced and had some extras that I didn't really pay much attention to when I ordered it. It turns out that this kit is really top notch. The mat is very heavy-the thickest I have seen. While replacement blades are common, no so much for the utility/mini box cutter. I will be forever working my way through 10 blades of 12 sections each. Often the add-ons are just that, stuff thrown in to make the buyer feel like they have something extra. One such thing is these types of metal rulers. I have a couple of these that by the time you get out to 100mm the measured length is off by more than 2mm. That can be a real problem when trying to be precise for something like a 3D printed part. The attached picture was shot through my lighted loupe. There is a little parallax going on, but take it from me, the ruler and the 8mm printed square on the mat are spot on. The degree markings match up with my digital protractor just as accurately. Both the primary product and the value added items here are top quality. Highly recommended.

I liked these at first but I'm having problems with getting the hold on the blades tight enough.

This is a really nice set. I got it to use for art projects where I am using it to cut small stencils. You get a nice blade selection and they are sharp and cut well. The mat is handy and protects my desk top. The blades change out fast and easy and you get a good amount of replacements. My only issue is my husband took half of the set to use in his shop for cutting and scraping gaskets! Good news though, he agreed, the set is great. Now, I just need another one! I highly recommend this and if your husband is like mine, get two sets.
