Before I had a Cradlwise, I had a Halo bassinet and it was frustrating to use. I needed something better that was reliable, helped my baby to stay asleep longer, and was atually durable. Overall I found this crib to be easy to assemble and it seems safe for my baby to be when compared to my old bassinet. I love that you can use an app and the rocking feature is no joke! I have heard great things about Cradlewise and I am thankful to own one-finally.

My niece had very little maternity leave, and I remember from having my own two kids how brutal those first few months can be when nobody is sleeping. So instead of gifting more clothes and diapers, I decided to gift her the Cradlewise crib. Honestly, I thought it looked promising but I wasn’t fully sure whether the baby would actually like the motion and soothing features. Turns out she took to it from day one. The baby sleeps really well in it, and my niece keeps telling me how much it has helped them get longer stretches of sleep at night. As someone who has already gone through the newborn phase twice, I genuinely think practical gifts matter more than cute ones. Parents get plenty of outfits. Very few people gift something that actually helps them survive the newborn stage a little easier. If you’re looking for a meaningful group gift or family gift for new parents, I’d absolutely recommend this over another basket of baby clothes.

We have a 3 year old already, so going into the newborn phase again we knew exactly how rough sleep deprivation can get. That’s honestly why we decided to try Cradlewise this time around. A few weeks in, I’d say the biggest difference is that the baby doesn’t fully wake up as often at night. You’ll see him start moving around, the crib responds, and a lot of times he settles back down before things escalate into a full crying session. With our first kid, that usually meant one of us getting out of bed. I also underestimated how nice it would be having the monitor, white noise, and crib all in one setup. Less stuff plugged in everywhere. The sleep tracking has actually been useful too because with your second kid, days blur together fast. It’s not magic and you still have newborn nights obviously, but I genuinely think we’re getting more sleep this time than we did with our first. As a dad, that alone makes it worth it.

Buyers beware, this product is a cash grab that is useless after your baby turns 3 months. Mine is 7 months now. The minute she started rolling over to her belly and we had to stop swaddling her for safety reasons, as is the standard safety protocol, she absolutely hated the crib. When she instinctively rolls onto to her belly while the soothe function is on, the bouncing makes her bump her forehead on the mattress because her neck is weak and she collapses and is frustrated and in pain and discomfort. But she like many babies she constantly wants to practice rolling. So the soothe function, the entire reason we bought the 1500 dollar crib, is USELESS. The mattresses is stIff as a board and no other mattress fits the stupid patented curve design. It's spent the past 4 months collecting dust. We paid through our nose for it and I am convinced it actually made her a worse sleeper because now she won't fall asleep unless I bounce her in my arms on a yoga ball. If I try to let her self-soothe in the crib, she will scream and cry for an hour straight. The app is glitchy as f. This crib ruined my life!!!!!

This crib was thoughtfully designed, from the unboxing process all the way to the use and experience of the App, they left no stone unturned. I was expecting that building the crib would be an Ikea nightmare, but the simple step-by-step instructions made it soooo easy. The functionality of the crib is so cool too! The bouncing just makes so much more sense than the swaying to me. As a mom of 2, this is how I comfort and get my babies to calm down... bouncing. We had the Snoo with our last baby, and it was fine, but nowhere near as effective as the Cradlewise. Plus, I don't have the dread of knowing I'm going to have to transition my baby to a regular crib after just the first few months, since I can use this crib for 2 years. The app works great too, and is easy to navigate. I love that you can create custom sounds (like adding a heartbeat or breathing) into the white, brown or pink noise. It's really customizable to your baby's preferences, which we all know they have. I'll update this review after a few more months of use, but overall, we're incredibly happy with the Cradlewise.
