Look at your non-rechargeable battery before purchasing this item. It will likely say it's a 3.0V battery. My multimeter showed it at 3.0 - 3.1V, and this output worked in my device. These Taken batteries (I tested every one fully charged) are marked on the side as 3.7V, and the actual output is 4.2V. Your device which needs 3.0V will likely not function with this amount of voltage, not to mention the device could be damaged. Check your device specs. Seller clearly notes the voltage in the listing as 3.7V. As a battery and charger, it is great unit - as a replacement for a true CR2 battery, it is an abysmal failure.

These batteries are absolutely, positively, unquestionably larger than a standard CR2 battery. I ordered these for Samsung Smarthings motion sensors and they will not fit inside. This is definitely not user error, this problem is because these batteries are TOO LARGE. I have attached a photo to my review so you can see how much difference there is between a regular CR2 battery and this product. I highly recommend you do not buy these. When deciding on buying something I greatly depend on reviews from others, so I hope this helps you! UPDATE When I contacted the seller, this was their response: "I see that the battery you were originally using was a CR2 3V Lithium Battery. The battery height of CR2 3V is about 26mm, but the battery you purchased is RCR2 3.7V Rechargeable Battery, and the battery height of RCR2 3.7V is about 27mm. The RCR2 3.7V battery will be a little higher than the CR2 3V battery." I appreciate the explanation but I am not changing my rating because I still feel that the product description is misleading. It says "CR2" in multiple places including the title. So anyone would be led to believe that this battery can be used in any device that uses CR2 batteries. But I do not know of any devices that specify using RCR2 batteries so it's really a crapshoot as to whether or not these rechargeable batteries will fit in your device(s). The seller should make it very clear that the sizes are not the same and that this battery may not work for you. Caveat emptor.

These work AND fit perfectly in the equipment I use them in. I saw another review saying they are larger. They are not. In fact they are exactly the same size as standard CR2's. As you can see in the picture, they (the green one on the right) are exactly the same size as a standard non-rechargeable CR2 (left)

So far so good. I didn't have enough time yet to find out if longevity is good, noir battery life. But I am pleased so far. I just like the idea of recharging these batteries. And glad to find them available.

Rechargeable is the only way to go. With batteries that aren’t as common or kept on hand like standard sizes it’s great. We have the full variety of sizes now which allows us to always be ready.
