I am so glad I got this! I have a ton of make up (including large eyeshadow palettes) and needed a place to put all of it…. And let me just say, I don’t know how I’ve lived 39 years without one of these. This is really good quality, looks nice on my counter, and I absolutely recommend it.

This is a good, but not great, makeup holder. It's a nice size on my dresser, but it has its problems. It's like someone took some great design concepts they heard of makeup lovers, but nobody bothered going to some folks' makeup collections to see how the dimensions worked. Things I like: 1. It's sturdy enough for my needs, but I don't have kids or pets. I'm not sure if I'd trust this if I did. 2. It's attractive and simple. It won't go out of style suddenly. 3. The black fake velvet drawer liners aren't glued in. I can easy wash this as it gets dirty, and I can also easily replace the liners with other pages. I have tons of origami and scrapbook paper, so there won't be any problem when that time comes. Things that I dislike: 1. The "lipstick holder" on the top tier is a serious problem. They are just barely tall enough for the standard old fashioned tube lipsticks, and they don't get taller as they get towards the back. They are absolutely impossible for liquid lipsticks. 2. The left of the top tier is also problematic because it's got a small section in the back that I can put liners it, but it's now crammed with some of my liquid lippies instead. Since the front of that portion edges slow downward, it's kind of hard to decide what to stick there. I've currently put my bb cream and such there, but I'd wanted to put them below this section. 3. The square on the left of the second tier is too tall for a lot of things but too short for a lot of things. I'm really unclear as to what that was designed to hold. I can't put things like my bb cream in it because the tubes are too tall. If I lie it down flat, it fits but then there's not much space left unless I start piling things on top of each other. So I could put things like eye primer in the top left, as planned, but this drawer is so short that I can't put the bb cream and such there. I bought this because I didn't want to keep jumbling things up in a drawer, but the drawer doesn't really fit anything properly. I think it would fit nail polish, but I Have a separate container for nail polish. 4. The drawers on the right side of the second tier aren't deep enough to fit most of my lip liners or eye liners, either, and I'd really wanted to use those for eye primers, eye liners, mascaras, etc. 5. The bottom tier drawers are useful in that they are deeper, and I can add those liquid liners and such, but I'd really wanted to use those for eye shadow palettes. However, the are a lousy fit for palettes. Most palettes only fit one per drawer and take up just enough space that you're wasting a ton of space. I know I have too much makeup, far more than three palettes, but I'd assumed I'd be able to fit two per drawer. I can use these drawers for the liquid lipsticks and the lip liners, but if I put nothing but lipsticks in here (yes, I could fill this with various lip items between the balms, the sticks, the liquids, the liners, the primers, the toppers, the stains, etc.) then it's just a lipstick holder, and I'd hoped to use it to put my "main" daily items in here. Then I wouldn't need to have my fake kaboodle out everyday.

I struggled to figure out how I wanted to review this overall but the bottom line is that the product and image descriptions are wrong. I had measured the items I wanted to store in this organizer and got the extra large because I needed the 7.1" depth. It is actually 6 ⅝" on the outside, 6 ⅛" on the inside of the drawer. My makeup palette is 6 ⅜" so it's not fitting in the drawer. I can take the drawer out and stick it in the slot but now I have a random drawer hanging around. I am going to keep this though because at this point in time I can't find an organizer that isn't from this company and fits my complete needs. If I find one before the return window closes though, it will go back.
