Description

The CPS Leather Adjustable Artist Concert Piano Bench is 23" long and 16" deep. It weighs about 34 pounds. Its height can be adjusted from 18" to 21". The concert piano bench is made of solid hard wood with heavy duty mechanism (silent micro adjustment). The cushioned top is covered with 100% premium genuine leather. The leather we use on our bench is the top quality leather you can find. It's thick and soft. Each one is hand picked by our designers to ensure the quality of the leather you expect. The seat has a deep diamond tufted seat with 13 buttons for extra comfort. There is a storage compartment under the seat. It also has solid skirt that covers the lifting mechanism. When the bench is adjusted to its maximum height, you do not see any gap or the lifting mechanisms. Quick and easy assembly, you just attach the legs with the wrench provided. Available in ebony (black) color with high gloss finish. This product carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Actually, I bought two of these a year apart. The first one was to replace a Yamaha bench that is narrow and unstable. The second one was bought recently to replace my old Steinway bench with no cushion to sit on and has become wobbly and, of course, unstable. This product looks like a Steinway bench that I always see in recitals and concerts. I wanted to buy the Steinway bench but it is very expensive around $750. As a good substitute, I bought this product and looks like an official bench for recitals and/or concerts. It is very comfortable to sit on while playing the piano. A great purchase!     • Great Artist Bench, good value
I have been wanting an Artist Concert Piano Bench for years, and finally took the plunge. I'm glad I found this one--it is affordable, and is every bit as nice as the ones I've tried that cost 3 times as much. It was not hard to put on the legs, and the bench was ready to go. However, after having used this bench for a good while, the only complaint that I have is that it creaks. I'm sure that if I were more handy I'd figure out where to oil it to rid it of the creaking sounds when one shifts weight on the bench when playing, just be aware that it might be an issue. Arrived on time and I just assembled it. The bench is very solid, looks great, and is very easy to put together. No creaking so far. I'm very happy with how high the bench can be adjusted. Now my son can reach the keys! Some slight critiques: * Yes, it does take a lot of turns to adjust the height, but I won't be doing this very often, so it doesn't bother me. * The storage compartment is unexpectedly shallow. * The fabric lining the storage compartment was unfortunately quite scuffed up because the legs are stored in there during shipping and I guess they were sliding around . But since the damage is hidden away, I can live with it. * The cushion seems a bit firm. Perhaps it'll soften over time? ... show more

    • It's worth the buy
It's really sturdy and very easy to assemble. However, my daughter complains about how hard the cushion is. Also, I wish it could go a little higher because it doesn't go high enough for my daughter.

    • What A Difference A Good Bench Makes!
Our Baby Grand came with a regular bench, limited padding and not adjustable. This bench has made all the difference!! Both my husband and I can play for as long as we want without discomfort. Plus, we can now adjust the bench to our legs, rather than using a "standard" length. The bench storage has some room for music, but is limited. This was worth every penny!!! I have been using this bench now for several weeks and am completely taken with it, I have NOT noted any of the squeaking which others who have purchased this bench prior to me and written reviews of it. I would not hesitate to purchase this piece of finely made furniture again but I suspect it will continue to serve me quite satisfactorily for many years to come. The storage space, while a bit small, is quite adequate for me and I have no problem, whatsoever, with taking the time required to raise and lower the seat.
