When I started the washer this morning, I noticed a weird noise, but I couldn't find anything so I figured maybe the laundry detergent cap was in there somewhere. I let the whole cycle run. When I unloaded it, there, at the bottom of the washer, was my iPhone, in its Cozycase. Expecting the worst, I lifted the phone only to see the screen light up. There was a little bit of moisture that had seeped in (I didn't have the case completely tightly closed at the base where the cables plug in), the phone worked perfectly and no water got into the phone itself. I had a lifeproof before this and bought this only b/c I knew I'd be replacing my phone eventually. I must say, for an inexpensive case, this one has endured the washer, my clumsiness, and allows the camera to take clear pictures. Easy to put on. Protects my phone from dust or water, as it is sealed well All parts of the phone are covered within the case, including the camera lenses on the back. I like that the part of the case over the camera and screen is crystal clear and doesn’t effect my photos, visibility, or sensitity. The case also came with a lanyard/strap you can use around your wrist to prevent dropping the phone. The case is really thick on the corners also so if you do drop it, it’ll absorb the shock and protect your phone well. I’d definitely purchase again, for my next phone. Update: After using this case for 6 months, my phone has been protected, the screen is still in mint condition, and there have been no leaks thru the seals which I was mostly curious about. Ive dropped my phone many times and dropped it in liquid, and this case protected it fully. The outside of the case has been etched and scratched by items in my purse and it hasn't effected the view of my screen thru it. I'm not sure if the case had a warrantee from the manufacturer, but it would easily last 2 or 3 years with normal use on a phone. ... show more

Installed the case as directed and the waterproof failed. I was in water for less than 5mins with phone completely sealed in case and phone and charging port got wet. My charging port had water in it and I was not able to charge until dried 24 hours later which left me without use of my phone while on vacation in a foreign country. Not a good experience at all. I’m now more frustrated with the fact that I am now also inconvenienced with having to return it. ... show more

I bought this for an upcoming vacation, to prevent any issues with my phone. Firstly, I'd like to say that it is a very sealed and protective phone case. But...an absolute pain in the butt to install and use for everyday. Please be careful when installing it, their instructions are sent to you so please read them because the fingerprint scanner is sticky, meaning it ad hears to your screen to be able to use it. Overall it's a good case, I would rate it higher if I liked it more. This is my person experience and opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. It is a good case, but not for me. ... show more

I really only got this case cover because I needed to keep Dust and rain off of my phone because I’m outside a lot for work. I inadvertently left it in the hot tub for about 15 minutes after I closed it up. This case is waterproof. It gave me a heart attack to see my phone face down in the bottom of the hot tub.
