Honestly, I would give it 8 out of 5 stars except for one thing the mounting clips won't work on a thick countertop. I am using 1.5" Butcherblock, and had to notch out about 3/4" underneath to get the clips to hold. Thick solid surface like quarts or granite would not have that option. 3/4" plywood, with laminate would be great ... show more

I loved the shape and size of this sink. The weight of the material, and sound-proofing seemed good too. I did a thorough inspection upon receipt and all seemed well, but attempting to install was a nightmare. As a few other reviewers mentioned, mine had a very slight bow, like a smile, side to side. The outer edges were about 1/8 to 1/4 inch higher than the center - not noticeable until I tried to seat it in the counter. After fighting with the clips for hour, trying to get them to pull the sides down flush, (and even buying new, better quality clips), I finally gave up on getting the sink to sit flat and purchased a different sink locally. The new sink dropped right in with no issues, so I'm confident this wasn't user error. Based on other reviews, I suspect if you're lucky enough to receive a flat sink, you'll be very happy. I would have gone with a replacement rather than a return, but after 3 days with no sink I needed to be able to do dishes! *Edited to add: my refund was just approved, so no complaints about the seller's service. I wish the sink had worked for me!* ... show more

Installed in basement and fit not as critical fit as kitchen. Nice sheet metal, but need better quality control for seating surface. Great value for the money and would purchase again.
