We have had this ice maker for approximately 6 months and it turns out ice in an exceptional rate. No problem so far. I took a second picture showing the drainage from the ice maker. The only issue I'm having is trying to figure out how to drain it without using a drain pan.

I purchased this unit because our refrigerator could not keep up with our ice needs. For the first 4 months of use it worked flawlessly, and produced all the ice we needed. We could even control the ice cube size. Then, it stopped producing ice. The manual and other literature indicated the unit needed to be cleaned which required disassembly. I contacted the number provided for warranty covered service. Despite all my efforts to describe the problem, and inconvenience in reassembling the unit, I was always answered with the same words: "Please send a 30 second video. It is now 2 weeks since it stopped working, As directed, I made the required video. I was told I would be contacted after 7 to 10 business days. I contacted them after the waiting period and received no answer. I then contacted them to advise of my intention to file in Small Claims Court, along with contact to Amazon, and the Better Business Bureau. Then I was asked whether I wanted another unit or refund. I chose to get the refund. Another unit would make me a masochist. I have no idea or expectation they will honor their warranty by issuing a full refund. I have no faith or confidence in this company. I am forced to purchase a unit from a competing company. I write this review hoping to prevent others from having an experience like mine.

Ice machine makes ice quickly. A little loud if you want you to put it in your kitchen or living area, but a really good machine.

Works well, holds ice well too. My only complaint is, it WILL NOT hold 33lbs of ice. I get about 18-20 (2 1/2, 8lb bags) per fill. It will shut off with a "full" lever that can be reset a couple times. But will not hold 33lbs. Could produce about 100lbs daily, if it would run overnight. However, at roughly 4-5 hrs, it's produced close to 16lbs and has to be emptied, or it shuts down. I would give this a five-star if it held as much as advertised. I was figuring 4lbs an hour, and a 33lb capacity, would give it a solid run time of 8 hours. That would be more than enough to get overnight cycles and not have to be emptied every 3 to 5 hours.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this to replace the old ice maker in the store. It is a great quality, stainless steel, easy to clean, and very simple to install and operate. It makes ice quickly, has a large capacity, and has a self-cleaning feature. Recommended
