I compared the CG TruBlend Matte Made foundation I bought from the store with the CG foundation I bought from Amazon. The bottle itself from Amazon looked the same, but the cap was loose on the pump and the product was runny. I checked the expiration date and it was dated 2020, so the foundation could be close to expiration. I don’t think I would buy beauty products again from Amazon if I could find them in store. It doesn’t seem as fresh as store bought beauty products. The store bought CG foundation was not runny and the cap on the bottle was not loose. Plus, the sealed tape was wider and didn’t look like thin office tape. I haven’t worn the foundation long enough to tell you the longevity, but I feel like the foundation is the same as long-wear foundations depending on the skin type and the weather. I am 70 years old and have used many makeups over the years. I am currently using Clinique matte. This makeup is almost as good for a LOT LESS... So $30. for a bottle of Clinique and around $8. for this Covergirl. I use the Covergirl now for every day wear and only use the Clinique for going out or special occasions. It has very good coverage and this color (L-50) worked well on my light olive complexion. No pink or yellow undertones. I love it. ... show more

I’ve been a Maybelline FitMe girl and thought they were such a great match but decided to try this foundation and was amazed at how great this match me over FitMe. I was between 355 & 360 on FitMe, always leaning to 360 as it had more orange & was cooler but this was spot on for me. So if you fall in the same problem as me and notice you can use both 355 & 360 but lean to 360, try the D70, it’ll change your foundation life. Ever since I learned that Cover Girl was cruelty-free—one of the few affordable cruelty-free cosmetic lines out there—I’ve switched over. Overall, I’ve been pleased as is the case here. Coverage is medium—not mask-like, but provides decent coverage for imperfect skin—it’s impressively long lasting, and I was able to match the shade on the first try…which was a pleasant surprise ordering online. I only have one issue with this and it’s a huge pet peeve of mine. The pump on the decanter gave out about halfway through the bottle. Tried to declog with soap and water, but das kaput. Not a huge deal—and especially for the price—but it is irritating as hell. Irritating enough that I will probably use a different Cover Girl foundation once this is used up…without the pump dispenser. Pretty small quibble for an otherwise very good product, but if you are semi-OCD like me, it’s quibble enough. ... show more
