I don't like makeup and I rarely ever wear it. But now that I'm in my mid-40s, I'm realizing I need to do better with skincare, so I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF and came across several of the tinted BB creams. After reviewing several, I decided to give this one a try as the pictures of people using the "Light to Medium" seemed to have a similar skin tone as I do. The "Light to Medium" shade perfectly matches my skin. No one can tell that I have this on, unlike with other makeup. My partner and friends had no idea until I told them and they said they couldn't tell. I am really happy with it so far! I've been using it for two days and I can feel how soft my skin is. The coverage is very light, so it's not going to do major color correction, but it does seem like it gives my skin a nice glow and covers up some lighter marks on my face (not freckles, moles or darker spots). Once it dries, I can touch my face and not feel like a bunch of makeup is coming off on my fingers, which is one of the things I dislike about wearing a non-powder foundation. Yesterday, I put the moisturizer on twice as I was going to be out in the sun for a couple of hours and didn't want to get sun burned. I was contemplating putting a different evening cream after my shower, but my skin was still so soft from using the CoverGirl moisturizer twice that I didn't even bother with the night cream. I do have an oily T-Zone, so if I notice any major breakouts or anything weird, I'll come back and update this review, but so far, I really love this product and will buy more of it. :)

This is my every day go-to moisturizer. The fair is perfect for my skin and the spf is so necessary for every day, not just summer. The cost is low for the lightweight cover and sunscreen. I use a pressed powder over it when I need to wear a full face makeup, but most days this is enough, when lipstick and light eye makeup is added. Goes on lightly, no noticeable smell, a great color for fair skinned brunettes, can be used as a foundation under a powder finish.

love it , absolutely but wish it came in a lighter (less pinky less peachy formula ), makes my face look too red...even the palest one. but formula is absolutely divine and works so well under makeup (i used to put a whiter , more yellow undertone powder over it to counteract redness, but i am past the age of powder use now...it leaves an orangey pinky contrast between face and neck, which i hate because i love it and nothing else comes close. i've tried them all--please make one for truly pale -fair with no/or much less redness in it !

This provides moisture, a little glow and some coverage as well as sunscreen SPF 21. It looks natural.Use alone after washing or can use under a moisturizer. Has practically no scent and is good for sensitive skin like mine. It does not clog pores or cause a breakout! Love this product and have used it for years I’m so happy Amazon carries it because the stores run out of this often. Also I should mention that I use the lighter shade, “fair to light” for under my eyes and areas I want to highlight.

As a lady of a "certain age", I have used very expensive products prior to retirement. I saw this product and thought "what the heck", let's try it. Wow!! It goes on smoothly and doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin. The coverage is just right, not too heavy or too light. I top it off with a little blush and highlighter. What a fantastic buy which stays on until you remove it at night. I recommend you try it and see if it works for you. I'm willing to bet you will like it.

It's always hit or miss ordering makeup online, especially foundations and similar products. I really studied the charts and tried to find a shade that would work, even going lighter than what I thought might be my shade. It looks like a nice formula, I tried it both on my face and my arm; it blends well, is non-irritating and everything. But it is way too red for my olive skin. I'm not super olive, but I think I will avoid CoverGirl complexion products in future because I can tell they will all just be too red. Great company, though and I think this would have made me happy if I could get the right colour.

Now have it on subscription. Works as MOISTURIZER, PRIMER, CONCEALER. It's like magic. I use it all the time and found I needed it on a subscription. Love it so much! If you are fair but tan at all, get the medium.

I hate heavy feeling foundation. And I don't want my foundation to rub off on my collars or on other people when I hug them. I also like to be able to touch my face and not worry about messing up my makeup. I have been using CG Smoothers for years and love it. It feels like a lotion. I don't see anything heavy on my face and there is nothing that can be accidentally wiped off. This is thinner coverage so if you are trying to really cover up flaws then this might not be for you. I decided to go with a more natural look and embrace my flaws. After I apply the CG Smoothers I then use some loose powder over the top. When spending time outdoors I have found that it works well for sunblock. (I do put on a higher SPF sunblock protection when I know I will be outdoors all day, but I have accidentally spent all day outdoors with just the CG Smoothers on my face and it did surpisingly well, my face did not burn. Note: I do not easliy burn anyway so fairer skinned people will have a different outcome than me.)
