So, I have been having the worst time finding a foundation that lasts throughout the day and doesn't either make me look like a grease-ball or a dried up prune. After giving this ago for a couple of months I have to say this is a fantastic product, especially for the price! It has blown all my higher end foundations out of the water. Below, I will list the pros and cons: PROS: -Blends in quickly and looks like skin (satin finish with light-medium coverage). -Does not feel heavy and very comfortable to wear. -It stays on areas of my face that normally has trouble keeping foundation on. -Looks the exact same after a 12 hour day. -Keeps all of my powder products on without touch ups. -I do not get oily. -Does not noticeably settle into fine lines/wrinkles. -Is water resistant. -Does well in humidity and I do not notice it feels heavy or has trouble staying on during these days. -Mostly transfer proof. -Squeeze tube is great for travel. -Cruelty free!! CONS: -There is a very light scent but it does dissipate quickly. -There can be slight transfer if you really rub at your face hard. But I find if I lightly scratch an area or just touch my face I do not get transfer. -If you pile on the foundation, powder, or a combination of the two, that is when you will get noticeable settling in fine lines/wrinkles. But I have always found less is more in those areas of your face so just use your best judgement. I am not sure why this foundation has not gotten more attention. I have noticed smaller YouTube channels have reviewed this product and those reviews have all been favorable. But any time I seem to mention this product to other people they look at me funny because it is not well known like the new L'oreal Infallible foundation but this one in my opinion is far superior. Oh, and did I not also mention, cruelty free?!

If you have oily skin, it'll shift your make up and look cakey after a couple of hours if you use a matte foundation. If you use a mousse like foundation and have oily skin, Don't. Your skin will feel heavy and the foundation will transfer to everything. It'll feel like it's running down your face. It might work better on dryer skin. I gave it 3 stars because it looks well with the matte foundation if I only go out for a few hours but not for an all-day wear, where I live it's a desert, so if you have oily skin and live where there's a lot of sun, you know the struggle.

I've been so happy with this since I bought it about a month ago! I've rarely worn any kind of foundation for several years now. Mainly because I run during my lunch break. The combination of sweat, sun and foundation has caused me to breakout in the past and made complexion so much worse. BUT, not with this. I was intrigued when I came across this "Active" Foundation and decided to give it a try. So far, no break outs. Not only do I not break out, even after I've been sweaty and splashed my face with water to cool down, it still looks good! I don't feel like it gives a caked on appearance like so many foundations do. The color I bought was a great match to my skin tone, so I get a smooth look that does not look fake. Love it!

To my dismay, I was sent the wrong product. I ordered the “Outlast Active” setting spray, and was sent the regular “Look Lock-Up” instead. I posted a pic to show this. I’ll try it, because it’s not worth the cost of sending it back. But...I’m very disappointed I didn’t get what I ordered and really wanted. It smells good. I’ll post a review on the product I did get, once I have a chance to try it. I’ll edit and add to this post. At the moment, I’m frustrated.

I just used this product for the first time this morning. I put it on to go for a walk with others at a park. I normally wouldn't wear makeup while exercising but my face has been breaking out from medication and, since I would be with others, I felt self-conscious about it and specifically got this because it claims to be sweat, transfer, & humidity-proof. The only positive is that, after the walk, my face actually still looked pretty good. During the walk, however, I lightly patted my sweating, humidity-covered face with a cloth and the makeup immediately transferred to the towel. When I got home and did some yoga to cool down, when I sat back up from child's pose, I saw that the makeup from my forehead had transferred to the mat. So, even with setting spray applied on top of this product, it still made a mess of my towel and my yoga mat; it's definitely not transfer-proof. Note, I didn't have near as much transfer when using my normal foundation that doesn't claim to be transfer-proof. Furthermore, even though it makes no sense given how easily it came off onto other things, this product was very difficult to clean off of my face. I washed my face with Dove soap and, since it still didn't feel clean, I washed it a second time with Dove before washing it a thrid time with my usual hydrating facial cleanser. So, you can imagine my shock when, after my shower, I used a cotton ball with micellar water to wipe my face prior to moisturizing and saw that the cotton ball was covered in foundation afterwards. How?!? I'm wearing this foundation to cover my acne-prone skin only to discover that it's so hard to get off that it will likely make my complexion even worse. And how it comes off on everything yet won't fully come off of my face just as easily is beyond me. So, 1 star off for multiple transfers and another star off for requiring me to clean my face 5 times to get it off & I still don't know if I really got all of it. I won't be buying again.
