I got the Covergirl Matte Ambition Foundation on Prime Day even though I normally buy the Covergirl 3 n 1 Outlast Foundation. When I got it I could instantly tell the color was going to be off and it was it also tends to get more orange as the day goes on. When I put it on there were white flakes all over my face that I used my powder brush to get off. After a few days of using it I started breaking out all over my chin, cheeks and my nose (I never have break outs on my nose) the bumps on my cheeks were SO painful I ended up ordering the Covergirl 3n1 Outlast. I actually was so happy to get off work so I could get the Matte Ambition off my face! I did not wear any makeup for the next 2 days so my skin could clear up. I won’t be buying this again I threw it away as well I wouldn’t gift it to anybody either. ... show more

I usually don't like covergirl foundations but i thought id give it a try because it was so cheap. The finish is sub par, I'm not sure if it’s because I'm do oily when i try to reapply the areas that came off it didn’t look good and applied patchy. I honestly would not repurchase.

You can search the batch codes for make up to see they were manufactured. The bottle I got was nearly 4 years old. When I contacted Covergirl they said this product was discontinued and to only buy from "authorized retailers" but their website still lists this brand. Buyer beware when buying makeup online. ... show more
