The lipstick goes on smoothly and doesn't feather, and it lasts fairly well -- I purchased this to wear to a cocktail event, and it held up for about 4 hours at least. I bought this shade of lipstick based on product photos here on Amazon, and in person, the lipstick shade is completely different. I tbought I was getting a strong purple lipstick, but it was instead a berry that stains pink (compare the swatch photo I took in natural daylight to the photos in the product listing). The product I received through Amazon Market is Covergirl Exhibitionist Lipstick demi-Matte. I have been using this lipstick for several years. Of course I like the color but most important for me is, it moisturizes my lips. I'm a dried up 90 year old and when I tell you it keeps my lips looking good you can be sure it works.
