I’m in love with this foundation! The color, “golden ivory,” is a 100% perfect match on my skin! I’m Italian so I have that olive skin tone. I went to the Covergirl website and used their virtual foundation and shade finder and it picked this shade for me. I highly recommend trying it out; it was so helpful because getting a good color match has always been a problem. I was worried it would look yellow, but it’s so beautiful and glowing that I can’t even tell I’m wearing any foundation at all! I have combo skin with the t-zone oily appearance. When I used it for the first time today I did not use a primer. It covered well for me, it’s thin and lightweight with a natural satin finish. It was not drying at all and I noticed it had a slightly Dewey appearance after i wore it for about an hour. It’s what I was hoping for! At my age now, 62, I’m not looking for that heavy full coverage that usually ends up Cakey looking. Plus I live in Arizona and it’s very hot out and it held up well! This didn’t settle into any of my fine lines, just very natural looking. I hope they never discontinue this, I’m very happy with this product!

This is great of you are looking for a lightweight light to medium coverage foundation which is exactly what I was going for. I got my perfect shade! It oxidizes the tiniest bit but not enough to need to order a different shade. The finish is natural. I wouldn’t say there is any particular scent to it especially compared to the old formula. It’s very thin in consistency but I just find it easy to spread, maybe that’s why the brand went for a squeeze tube instead of a pump. You can’t beat the affordability. I’d say this foundation is great for normal skin types. If you are dry like I am, prep your skin as you are not going to get a bunch of moisture from the foundation but if you are oily you probably will want to set it. It’s a great foundation and I’m glad I bought it!

I love the fact that this product is in a tube instead of the glass bottle it used to be in; easier to pack and no fear of breaking or dropping. The color is good and doesn't fade throughout the day. It blends well and covers well. While I had to search for it when delivered, it was worth the search. I only wish it came in a larger size, but this price was great.

I have a neutral, slightly leaning warmer skin tone, with olive overtone, and have spent months buying both neutral and warm foundations but never managed to find the perfect shade. Ordered a free sample of this covergirl foundation so I could try their entire shade range without spending money and it was so worth it, found my PERFECT shade and immediately came to buy a full size. Love it! Going to commit to it for awhile for sure. Texture is lovely and light! Doesn’t feel heavy. I have dry skin and it is very moisturizing. Color is perfect. No weird smell. Applies beautifully both with sponge or brush.

not the best for me. its okay for a quick fix but not for long term. it didnt cover up much on my face. it is watery at times and texture can also clump up. it was effective for me. it also made me cry if it got to close to my eyes which i didnt like very much. i stopped using this product because of it. i wouldnt say the quality is the best but for the cost, someone could make it work for them.

Does moisturize, goes right into your skin, not cakey. Very light & looks natural. Doesn't cover well but does make color flaws fade some while wearing it, but if you are covering a red pimple it won't stay covered. This is a light makeup for women who have good skin but wants to even the tones, freckles and age spots and moisturize as well..
