“Finally, a foundation that doesn’t ghost me!” Y’all, I’ve been through more foundations than Taylor Swift has been through breakups, and let me tell you - this one STAYS. The True Match doesn’t just live up to its name, it’s like having a personal makeup artist who actually listened when you said “I want to look human, not like a circus performer.” The Good: Blends like butter on warm toast, doesn’t separate after 3 hours (looking at you, expensive brand that shall remain nameless), and the shade range actually includes people who aren’t vampires OR Oompa Loompas. The Reality Check: It’s not completely transfer-proof, so maybe don’t rub your face on your white shirt. But honestly, what foundation is? We’re not made of silicone here. Bottom Line: For the price of a fancy coffee habit for a week, you get a foundation that makes you look like the best version of yourself. That’s what I call a glow-up investment! 💫

I loved this foundation so much when I first bought it because it blends into your skin and is very light yet medium coverage. However, when I bought it a third time it was completely different formula, probably expired because there are clumps and it's super liquid. I recommend just buying from store because this is really good foundation!!

Maybe I got an old batch or something, as some other reviews have mentions. Because, this is just awful. And I’ve tried dollar store foundations! It went on ok, but then flaked so bad, ended up looking real cakey on, even though I used very little. I can’t expressed how bad this flaked, it exaggerative my pores, it was down right embarrassing the first time I wore it out, because it ended up looking so bad after an hour of it being on. It was super dry, got crumbly looking and was coming off in little clumps, when I touched my skin, yet it also never seemed to fully set or dry no matter what I did. I tried this 4 times, trying differing application methods , prepped skin with different moisturizers, primers, used/didn’t use setting powers. Even tried using it all by itself with no skin prep, or anything, just all different kinds of combinations experimenting with half and half on my face, all with the same horrible HORRIBLE results. I ordered 2 of these and even tried the other bottle thinking maybe the first one was just bad, and same results. I’ve always been able to make a foundation work, they may not be my favorite, won’t be my go, nor will I buy them again, but usually I can make them work in some way, enough to use them up on certain days where I’m not really going anywhere important. Lol. This one I’m going to just toss both tubes, it’s that bad!! There is no saving this one. This, reminded me of my middle school years (90’s) when you caked on the foundation and then added a pound of powered on top of it, because we didn’t know any better back in the day. No thanks!

The media could not be loaded. I bought two shades and the 520 Fair shade came in the old packaging. The one in the old packaging is super watery and no matter how much you shake it, it separates immediately. You can hear the difference when I shake them in my video. This one is getting returned. BUT, as for the 530 Fair/Light shade, it came in the new packaging and the consistency was how it should be. I love this because 1) it doesn’t settle into fine lines, 2) my face looks and feels hydrated. 3) because of reason #2 it didn’t accentuate the texture around my chin or mouth. 4) my face looks so healthy and dewy but not greasy 5) When I touch my face it feels like I have a moisturizer on. 6) good color match and it didn’t oxidize. 7) 10 hours in and it still looks so good! I prepped my face with Corsx snail mucin moisturizer, then the Covergirl Clean Fresh Milk spray. I think less is more with this foundation, so I used green and orange to color correct only the areas that needed it. Then I used a damp beauty blender to apply it. Amazing product for the price!

I have mature skin, and foundations brought out every line and crease. After trying many many different foundations I was ready to give up on makeup, as I couldn't fine one to match my tone. This does not highlight pores or imperfections, blends well, feels hydrating, dewy and light without any shine. It also evens out my skin tone. I ordered it hesitantly due to the fact that it's a colored moisturizer, but happy I took the chance. For the cost and performance, it's better than some of higher quality makeup. It also does not have the heavy feel of foundation. I highly recommend this product!, you will not be disappointed!
