I am a small build and I can’t even sit sideways on these. My thighs almost hang off the sides sitting facing forward yet they advertise larger seat. They are like the seat size for a toddler.

To be honest, these chairs are OK. The only problem is that instructions. Literally state to throw away the volts. They are in the chair and after assembling three of them. I realize that I cannot put the chairs together. I use the bolts that I took out, so then I had to disassemble the three chairs to assemble and Back Together and it was just a mess. I wish that they could correct the instructions but I put a picture of the instruction manual so you guys can see that it literally says to dispose of the bolts. ... show more

    • Don’t follow the directions they are wrong

Would have given a higher review if it wasn’t absolute hell to assemble, only because the directions are completely incorrect. I got 2 together and realized I didn’t have enough bolts because the directions tell you the small ones are just for protection for delivery and to throw them away. Luckily I didn’t but I had to unscrew every bolt from the legs and put the small ones that came with it in those so I had enough for the center piece that goes between all the legs. Not fun, it took me over 3 hours to complete them. Now that they are put together and that whole ordeal is over I would say they are decent for the money but the seat is really small and hard to stay balanced on. ... show more

Okay to be honest, these were a pain to set up. You had to unscrew a bunch of screws, which probably helped keep the chair nice during travel, but still took forever. Then when doing the legs, you had to hand screw them because most drills won't fit. So it took some time. Now that they are all put together, I absolutely love them! They look absolutely sleek in our kitchen. They are high quality and I never worry about them holding weight. They have a great base so we haven't had any problems with tipping. I think they are comfortable and both my small kids and I love sitting on them at the counter. They are lightweight and slim, so they don't take up a bunch of space. My only thing is they do get messy easily and it's easy to see the gunk on them. But they are super easy to wipe down, so even that doesn't bother me very much! We didn't attach the backs because we wanted to have them slide all the way under the counter, and we love them that way! These bar stools are a highlight in our kitchen! ... show more
