I used 1 pad for each hand to take off 3 layers of nail polish and the color I used was black. These definitely don't fall apart like the more inexpensive ones. I'd certainly recommend.

Depending on what you want these for, they could be fine. But my main use is nail polish remover and these things suck for that. They absorb way too much remover but for whatever reason, they lock the liquid away and they don’t work after the second or third nail. They also just disintegrate, even just trying to wipe off a clean nail. And if you like any kind of polish that has any kind of abrasive quality, like glitter, just forget it. If you have any kind of callous or rough skin, that also tears them apart and leaves tons of lint. They may be great for facial skincare or something like that but I don’t use them for that. Since I tried these rounds, I go through two or three times the number of rounds and about five times as much polish remover. So from my perspective, they were a serious waste. ... show more

We use cotton rounds daily. I prefer the exfoliating type because they seem to work better at removing makeup and grime. I really like my store brand. However, they have been out of stock recently, so I’ve been experimenting with different brands available on Amazon. These made-in-the-USA Cotton Too exfoliating cotton rounds are reasonably priced and 100% cotton. They are okay, but they are softer and much fuzzier than my store brand cotton rounds. “Cotton too” / “Cotton Too” brand makes THE BEST cotton rounds. Cotton rounds without one side that has an exfoliating texture are pointless. These are the absolute best exfoliating cotton rounds. These are ok. The exfoiliating side isn't as pronounced as the ones are on swisspers, but since you get so many packs for the price, they will have to do.
