This is a very lightweight cotton stretch jersey. It's pretty comparable to some of my lighter tees in weight - if you are looking for a midweight shirt jersey (traditional men's/unisex tees) this is lighter than that. Its more a weight that I see in women's tees these days. I do like it for that use - light tees or tanks. It washed and dried fine on low. My yard is a bit darker and with a more blueish cast than the photograph shows but it is a very attractive forest green. My main complaint here is that it is only sold in 1 yd precuts which is a difficult amount for jersey which you would most often use for garments. It's suitable for kid's tops, smaller sizes or possibly patchwork, but is just short of the amount you'd need for most adult tops. You could get two separate cuts and make that work, but I don't know if the dyelots will be a match or not, and it's probably a no go for adult leggings or skirts.

It feels more like a cotton tshirt material. I’m used to custom fabric quality and this just isn’t to that status. It’s not very soft, and it’s very thin.

This is a lighter weighted cotton knit fabric. Definitely good for dresses, skirts, and tops for spring or summer. It is pretty easy to work with. I always wash my fabric before cutting it and this one rolls a little after the first wash. That's nothing unusual for cotton knit fabric.
