  • 4.0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend it, but if you ONLY have $200.00 then I suppose it's okay...
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I am going to be objective as possible... I rated this piano four stars because I think this is exactly what it's worth for something that's less that $200.00. I think the biggest thing this specific keyboard has to offer is its portability. It weighs probably weighs less than 20Ibs, and the battery life for this is fairly good. I will admit it is convenient, especially as it is very slim, so easy to store. If you are only willing to pay $200 for a piano then this is probably pretty good. HOWEVER, in my opinion I really did not enjoy the product. If you are a beginner, I would stay away away from this. It feels... cheap. The keys feel cheap, the sound sounds cheap, and the sustain pedal does not feel "correct." A beginner should get something that sounds good and has an authentic feel to encourage practice. I STRONGLY suggest you get something that is a little more pricey and resembles an actual piano. I attached a video so you can see the type of sound that it creates. Bear with me as I am a beginner, and the keys feel wildly different from normal keys. I bought this because I am military and I needed something small and portable as I am away from my actual piano for a couple of months. I will admit I have been practicing less because of the crappy techie sound it produces, it gives me a headache. If you are serious about learning piano, I recommend you spend about $500.00 - $1000.00 for a good piano. The Fur Elise clip is without the sustain pedal and the next two pieces are me holding down the sustain pedal. I hope this helps someone! ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars What you’d expect for $189
Color: Black
This is exactly what I’d expect for a $200 piano. Sounds hollow but you can fix tone and reverb. When I say sounds hollow… I mean it sounds like junk. The keys are really bad. If you try to play something with a medium tone, you can’t. It’s slam it or soft. If you play the high end with the low end, it mushes and drowns out the high keys. My sustain pedal was clearly “tested” by someone with muddy feet. The sustain doesn’t work at all. Plug it in the sustain mode on the piano turns off and even that won’t work. The sustain options works, but you can’t control so it blends everything and mushes it as well. The weighted keys aren’t weighted, they’re just springy (for lack of a better word). Doesn’t come with a stand, but you can get a decent stand for $60. You can plug into an amp which helps a lot to compensate for the sound quality. When you plug it in, you need two amps or a good splitter because it will play the left or right through the outlet your plugged into and the other side on the piano. Can connect to blue tooth (big plus). It also has a rechargeable battery so if you don’t want to stay plugged in and tethered to the wall, like if you have limited space or toddlers, you can just move the piano wherever. It’s super lightweight and definitely a great gift for someone just learning piano that doesn’t want a small 61 key. ... show more

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this electric piano Extremely disappointed..
Color: White
I have been playing this piano for a couple of weeks now. It is a very nice portable piano. I have a real piano. but did not like to play when others are watching TV or sleeping. The keys on the Sonart piano are exactly the same size and the feel is very similar. to my real piano. The speakers on this piano are much better than the first digital piano I bought from COSTZON. I do have a few things that could be improved on the piano. All the connections are on the back, I wish they were on the left side. There is a quite annoying beep that sounds every time the volume is adjusted. I wish it could be turned off. The sustain pedal does not work quite like a real piano. I bought this piano so I could practice any time of day or night and when I go on trips. It also is really nice not to have to tune the piano or practice on an out of tune piano. Extremely disappointed. please read updates to review UPDATE What a Disappointment. After only one month of use this electric piano is broken. I plugged in the suspend pedal as usual. A load noise came out of the external speakers. The instrument went to the REC mode, jumping right over the suspend mode. it does this every time the suspend pedal is pressed. I suspect it has a short in the circuit board. I contacted the company that sold the keyboard and they do not answer my emails. March 16, 2023 Still no satisfaction. All I get from seller is stalling. Difficult to play music. Change volume gives loud beeps & lowest volume is high. Keys are stiff tho look like but dont feel like piano keys so fingers dont slide smoothly. Only put up with this as I hoped for great features but after a month the instrument now has a fried circuit board or something. Turn on & press suspend pedal: goes to Record. Want to return this for a refund. I am NOT happy ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars amazing for the price point
Color: Black
this is great. i have wanted to learn a little piano for a while now, but i assumed they would be too expensive. at first, i was just looking for a full size midi keyboard, but when i got into it i realized just how cheap the entry level is. and for that money you actually get quite a bit! the keyboard has 125 sounds (mostly just different electric piano and basic sample based sounds). it has a metronome, a drum machine, a playback feature and a transpose feature. it does work as a midi keyboard, although there is a lot of latency. i have a usb audio interface and it still has a lot of lag, but i can record line in directly, so that may not be the biggest deal. it's hard to speak to quality, as this is my first and only electric keyboard experience, but it all seems satisfactory to me. the one major complaint i have is that the charger that came with it was bent. fortunately, it uses a generic micro usb charge port, so i can get a replacement easily. overall great for beginners, and maybe even beyond if you have the creativity. ... show more
