  • Works as advertised if not better!
Color: Blue
This little washing machine is absolutely amazing! I purchased this washing machine for all of my car detailing microfiber drying towels, microfiber wash mitts and, all other outdoor towels and, in most cases, yard work socks, shorts and shirts. This machine helps separate the “outside/car detailing chemical saturated material and yard work clothes from all other indoor laundry. Also, the drying/spin feature on this machine is amazing! I wish I could demonstrate just how impressive it truly is. My microfiber drying towels will hold up to 2 gallons of water and, the spin feature slings approximately 90% (plus) of the water out of these towels in a 5 minute timed spin cycle. Very, very impressive machine! One last thing…this particular model comes with a drain pump feature , not a gravity drain, and it works fabulous! It will pump out all of water in a matter of a few minutes! I also purchased a heavy duty cover for this machine that fits like a glove. You will love this little machine! ... show more

  • Perfect for Small Spaces Perfect for Small Spaces
Color: Blue
This washing machine has been a great solution for a small living space. If you don’t have a lot of room, this unit fits perfectly without feeling bulky. It’s ideal for smaller homes. It washes clothes very well considering the size. The washer side handles a solid amount of laundry, and the controls are simple and easy to use. No complicated setup. The spin dryer obviously just spins (it’s not heat drying), but it removes a lot of water and leaves clothes much drier than I expected. After spinning, they only need a short time to fully air dry. For the price, I honestly have no complaints. The quality matches what you pay for, and it performs exactly as it should. ... show more

  • COSTWAY portable washing machine is a very smart choice for travelers!
Color: Grey
Terrific product, especially for my RV travels. Lightweight, portable...no more trips to do laundry in town. Can wash smaller loads more frequently at camp! Wash-Weight capacity is actually LARGER (18 lbs vs 15 lbs) than the Splendide WFL1300XD which a lot of travelers seem to choose and install in their RV's. The Costway products saves you close to a thousand dollars and the time it takes to wash is significantly less. If you are hanging your clothes on a line at camp, no reason to purchase the electric dryer either....you just spin the clothes and hang. The clothes after spinning come out practically dry! Noise level is a low hummmmm...if you balance the loads correctly, it's not a problem at all. Super easy to use...don't select "DRAIN" while running the spin cycle...water will be pushed out the drain hose automatically through force. Very impressed with this product. ... show more

  • Life changer! Life changer!
Color: Blue
I've had this thing for almost a month and I can say I absolutely adore it. As recommended by other reviews, I bought a universal drain hose and that works great for sticking into the drainage that was already set up in my wash house. The universal drain extension is also great for in home if you want the machine set up in one place without having to move it. Just get a drain filter for the end so you dont have hair going down your bathtub drain. As for using the machine itself, the middle nob to set to drain is hard to turn, but dont feel like youre going to break it, it's supposed to be that way. Here's how I use this machine: 1: throw clothes in washer 2: add detergent on top 3: add water (connect inlet hose to washing side, not spinner side if possible) Do not skimp on the water. It will not automatically sense how much water you need and the clothes need enough room to move. 4: set timer for 15 minutes 5: when done, drain and either repeat steps 2 - 4 if clothes were super dirty or repeat steps 3 - 4 when you just need to rinse soap out. 6: drain 7: move to spinner. You wont fit all of the clothes if you have a full load so favor smaller loads if possible. This is not the machine where you have 5 kids and 4 adults and wait till the end of the week and expect to do anything other than washing clothes. 8: Set timer for 5 minutes. If you dont have a dryer, repeat 2 or 3 times for basically fully dry clothes. The clothes should be damp to dry after the first time depending on item. Is this as good as a modern washer? I would say it's just different. If you value throwing the clothes in and walking away, this isn't for you. If you value your clothes being done faster and spending less on a machine, this is great, especially if you don't have large loads of laundry. It just takes a little more work. I personally like that my clothes are basically dry once theyre out of the spinner so that they spend less time in the dryer. Last note: I use tide free and gentle. In the big container with the dispenser. Click the dispenser once. Quickly, dont hold it. "But Jay," I hear you say, "That's not enough soap!" Yes it is. For a half load, I would argue you may need to rince twice. Stop overusing soap, it's gonna make your clothes feel weird. Durability: It's plastic. Don't put boiling water in here. It's as durable as plastic gets. Noise level: Loud, but I don't mind it. I can hear it in the wash house from across the yard. The nobs make a clicking noise like a kitchen timer. Weight: I have mild joint issues and as long as this thing is empty, I can lift it easily. It's just a bit cumbersome, but it's a freaking washing machine. If you can lift a medium sized dog, you can probably lift this machine. Tldr: If you live in an rv, mobile home, or just live in the middle of nowhere and need a cheap washer, this is great. This is not a set it and forget it machine, so pull up a chair. ... show more

  • Step u from a wringer washer
Color: Blue
I was so disappointed in this washer.. it is literally a step up fr a wringer washer. This is good for a camper.. but not a home. There is way to much hands on. 1st step.. fill washer- wash, then unhook intake hose connect to drain hose drain. Then take soaking wet clothes like 3-4 pieces at a time put in spinner.. repeat till all clothes done. The discount inlet hose from drain fill washer- again put clothes back in rewash with fabric softer.. then disconnect intake to drain.. put in ringer again.. then dry.. this is insane I get soak taking out drenched clothes and separating them to put in spinner.. plus the middle knob is extremely hard to turn.. the intake hose is very cheap and will wear out quickly. The wash bin is big.. put the spin cycle is so loud it sounds like a sledgehammer pounding. Very loud?? The round thing put on top of clothes just flyes around in there. The washer is very light weight so easy to move. Its ideal for the outdoors.. but not in the home.. I returned the item.. the company I bought it was great .. great communication, quick answer, and quick refund. I recommend the company. ... show more

  • Perfect for 2 person house!
Color: Blue
Alright, if there are 2 people and no washer or dryer hook ups, this little thing is amazing for the price. It has a 15 minute wash timer and a normal and gentle setting. Then you have to drain and refill to rinse. And then a 5 minute spin cycle to "dry". So here are my likes and dislikes: Likes: -Good load size for washing. If you put to much in however, yoy won't get much movement, therefore not much clean. So make sure not to overload it. -it's not as loud as you would think. - it has a way to connect directly to the hot water inlet. I dont do it this way with my house set up. I set it in my bath tub, fill it from my shower head hose, and then do manual fill. So both options work for both types of set up. -it does get the cloths really clean. When you drain the water, you see the yuck of the water coming out and into the tub. - while the dryer isn't a standard dryer and is a spinner, it gets them pretty well close to dry. One shirt inwas able to wear right out ot got so dry. You'll need to hang them for the rest of the way for maybe an hour tops. Dislikes - doest do hair very well. I have pets and I had to lint roll after. It gets some, just not all. I'm going to see if there is a way for that to go a little better and get more off, but we shall see. -while large wash capacity, there is a much smaller dry capacity. It's nist a spin and rinse option and I fit about 6 shirts in it. I wish there was an option to dry the whole load that you can fit to wash. -gotta make sure to spray it out to clean it after to not leave hair and any sediment on the bottom. Overall, this product has been a life saver. My husband has one work outfit and I cycle between 5 shirts and 2 pants. Then of course socks and underwear. 3 loads tops to do everything for me and him. I'll come back about how well it holds up in 6 months as far as how durable it is. ... show more

  • Surpassed all expectations
Color: Blue
I've had this washer for a month now, and I wish I'd had it for 15 years. The on-site laundry room in my complex is ALWAYS out of order, and the nearest laundromat costs nearly $5 per load. This Costway is not a set-it-and-forget-it sort of appliance for me; I do some baby-sitting, and I put some extra effort into the rinsing and wringing processes. The first 4 or 5 times I used it, I found little ways to make things easier for myself, like keeping the machine placed on a towel so that it's easier to drag from my hallway into my bathroom, and buying a jug with a handle so that it's easier to fill manually. I have it all figured out now, and it is definitely less work than walking 2 blocks with a heavy laundry basket. It can handle all my bedding, and it does doormats and towels, no problem. Minor drawbacks are that it might be a little noisy for my neighbors, and I wish I had more room to store it. But this is still a five-star purchase, because it's convenient, incredibly cost-effective, and probably the first time in my entire life that I haven't had to share my washing machine with ANYBODY (like family or the whole neighborhood). ... show more

  • Decent portable washing machine but very tough on clothing
Color: Grey
I purchased the COSTWAY portable washing machine over a year ago and it is pretty solid for the price, but I've definitely noticed some things which would make me reconsider if I ever were to purchase it again. It definitely is great that the machine has a drain pump and a separate spinner - those two things make life a lot easier than machines without. For anyone new to this type of machine, it is more labor intensive than a traditional machine as you have to manually fill the tub with water, set the timer for spin, and drain the tub a couple of times to get everything nice and clean. Additionally, since I needed to store it in a closet when not in use, I had to do a couple of extra steps to make sure the machine was properly dried out in between use (I found that I needed to tip it over, sponge up all of the extra water in the tub, and then point a fan in it at least overnight). I have noticed overtime that it is very tough on clothing. I've had more tops fall apart in the past year than any other year. Even on the "gentle" wash setting. I think the way it agitates the water causes everything to wrap around each other and any clothing that had flaws in their stitching or material bore the brunt. I also noticed more wear and tear on delicate garment bags (i.e. delicates for bras etc.). I recently experimented with large clothing bags to put everything in and found that while the clothing was safer, the bag almost immediately began to tear apart (purchased the bags on Amazon with good reviews although there's not much to chose from in those types of bags). It also interfered with the machine's ability to wash everything / the lint was trapped on the clothing which made making everything neat for work more annoying. For me, the biggest thing is how tough it is on my clothing, everything else I've found a solid routine for. ... show more
