  • It's So Wonderful It's So Wonderful
Color: Blue
My apartment doesn't have washer dryer hookups and I've been doing laundry by hand which is physically exhausting. I bought another portable washer prior to this and it performed well but wouldn't hold a twin sheet, so I needed something larger. This isn't the biggest washer that is available but the capacity is certainly large enough for my needs! Twin bedding is not a problem for this. I'm including photos to give an idea of the size of the machine and how I currently have it set up. I have a very strong little table that I keep it on. I'm using anti vibration pads under the washer feet. I use a Rubbermaid bucket to fill/drain the water and a lint trap secured with a cable tie on the drain hose. It only requires a tiny amount of soap for laundry. It's very strong washing, it cleans quite thoroughly! And the spin dry gets the water O-U-T. I was amazed at how dry they are when done, it only takes about two minutes, just keep an eye on the hose. The machine I received had a label warning you not to put it in the bathtub. I followed the instruction booklet they included and it was easy to set up in just a minute. This would be ideal to use in an area close to a sink (like a kitchen) so you can fill/drain it easily. For me, that's the only "work" involved with this - carrying the water. I can't praise this machine enough! It's a real pleasure to wash things now, like it used to be years ago. It's worth every penny I saved to buy it!! I haven't had this washer long enough to speak on the durability. But it was in perfect condition when it arrived and it doesn't leak. I do dry the inside when I'm done and leave it open to air out. As for portability, it is portable but for me it's heavy so I won't be moving it around. I definitely recommend this brand and this machine! I was terrible nervous about the whole thing but it worked out and it's a blessing to do the laundry again. 5 Stars Plus If anything changes I will update the review. ... show more

  • Simple washing machine but time consuming. Simple washing machine but time consuming.
Color: Blue
Overall, it's a pretty good washing machine. Just be aware that it is a small machine with limited space for your clothing. I have been managing to get underwear and socks and a couple of T-shirts for two people for a week into one washing cycle, three regular size bath towles and two hand size towles into another cycle, a set of full-size mattress sheet set (fitted sheet, two pillow cases, and regular sheet) into another cycle, and finally about 4-6 T-shirts mix & match with trousers, jeans or shorts into another cycle. It seems like a lot, considering that you have to break up your spinning of every washing cycle into two spinning cycles because the draining drum is smaller than the washing tub. But, if you don't have the space for a full-size washing machine or you don't want to spend the amount of money it costs to have a full-size machine, then this is a pretty good option. Aside from the capacity issue, I haven't had any other issues with the machine other than the water hose coming loose from my faucet and making a big spill of water on my floor. I had to go to the orange hardware store to get a faucet attachment and clamp like I showed in the picture to secure the water hose in place. You don't have to do this but I would suggest you don't walk away from the hose while you are filling the tub. That way, in case the hose comes loose you are standing by to shut off the water right away and avoid a spill. Also, the draining pump isn't powerful enough to drain all of the water out of the draining tube unless the tube is parallel to the floor (basically, even with the bottom of the machine). I have the drainage tube up on the wall, and as you can see in the picture, it is pretty high up. The pump does a pretty good job of getting 98% of the water drained. The last amount of water I get out of the machine by raising the machine with both my hands up to the level of the drain. I also have it up on a stand to raise it up a bit. Otherwise, it is pretty low to the ground, and with my bad back, it can get difficult. ... show more

  • I need another machine.
Color: Grey
Recent update: I left the machine unplugged and tried again the next day and it spins. Note that I tried unplugging and re plugging directly after the mishap but to no avail. There are troubleshooting steps that you can go through before the return. Back to 4 starts. Not a full 5, and it really should be a 3.5 because of that short hose and spin inconsistency (and size) Start with pros: I needed it to wash cloth puppy pads. That’s it. It helps not have hair in my regular machine. Priced nicely Easy to carry around- lightweight The spin cycle- when it was working- was loud but effective Cons: It stopped working properly already. Used it twice. I got it TODAY. -It will not spin anymore. It just “drains” even though drain is not a selected option. -directions tell you not to use it in the bathroom but where else do you have a water source? The kitchen. Absolutely not. -drain hose too short for how I want to drain. It requires me to stoop over -the hose to fill up the washing machine isn’t working from my faucet to my machine. The angle , I guess, and water pressure plays a part in that but it’s useless. I just use a bucket. - I can only wash 3 puppy pads (they are the larger like 32x32) at once. I have 5 -I can only dry 2 at once. -spin doesn’t work anymore. That’s the main con. I even unplugged and re plugged and the drain hose just starts “regurgitating” <<< that’s really the best way to describe the movements of the thing as it throws up water<< all over my floor. • Good investment.
Color: Grey
This is a MUST HAVE if you live in a small place and don’t want to go to the laundromat. I have mine installed in the bathroom and use my shower with removable head as water source. It’s perfect really. Small loads are best, full load is socks and undies 8 pair each. 5 pairs of pants/ 3 jeans at a time. I’ve had mine for over two years and it still gets the job done. Very easy to use, good drainage, durable, strong spin cycle. Pod friendly. Get the portable dryer too. It’s a good investment. ... show more

Please beware of this product. Worked great for 5 small baby clothes loads. Then the ringer stopped working. We provided videos that was requested by the seller and tried their suggestions. No order to replace the brand new washing machine. They suggested I take to a place to have fixed and they would send me $60 of a $139 brand new broken machine. Please do NOT buy this washer. ... show more

  • I love my portable washer.
Color: Grey
I love my washing machine. Was very skeptical because of the price. I’ve only washed one load of clothes so far, since getting it. Wash two long nightgowns, some scarves, 5 pairs of underwear, 5 wash cloths. I could have put another night gown in but I didn’t want to overload it. The ringer rung out my clothes very well. I know it said use was powder, but I haven’t used washing powder in years. I had washing pods and use one of them without any problems. I am going to get a noise canceling mat to go under my machine. Live in an apartment and don’t want it to disturb my neighbors below out of consideration. It doesn’t make that much noise, but when I’m using the spin cycle it makes the normal noise of the spin cycle. I would recommend for anyone living is a small apt to give this wash machine a try. I’m going to do my best to get this machine to last a least a year, but respecting its limitations and not overloading it, or moving it around. Keeping it on a level surface. I didn’t use the water intake hose, because it’s to fragile. I used my shower head to fill the washer with water. Placed the drainage hose in my shower stall for the water to drain. ... show more

  • Does the job but several features problematic
Color: Blue
This product does work well for doing tiny loads of wash in a situation where you can't get to a full size machine or Don't have enough to fill a full size machine. if you have a need for frequent small loads such as when there is a new baby in the house or you have medical garments or a lot of lingerie or if you are trampling in an rv This would work well. the 7.6 pound size Is the most your average smaller woman could lift and maneuver In a small space where you might need to turn the machine sideways or lift it up over the side of a tub to set it inside. if you have a bad back or a tone rotator cuff that might be a concern. however if you go to a smaller size you will not be able to do more than a couple of shirts or Maybe 8 or 10 baby outfits. I mean one sees booties and maybe a couple of baby blankets. You will find it easiest if you do put this in a tub. you could have it on a rolling platform but it would still need to be above the level you are draining into whether it's a bucket or the bathtub or toilet. It does have a drain pump but when the water level is very low the drain pump doesn't have anything to work with and you will need to tilt the empty machine to get the last few drops out. It's simpler to just put the device into the bathtub and point the drain hose downhill. people are right when they say that the Drain hose is flimsy but that the fill hose is a joke. they are correct that it would split or be crushed flat very easily and that the. the solutions people have suggested include using your Or a plastic funnel over your shower head or even a 5 gallon bucket To hand fill it. a five gallon bucket is needed but that is heavy enough to do harm To a bad shoulder or a small person's back and so I recommend you get a 1 or 2 gallon bucket from the cleaning section of the store and use that instead. if you do it will probably be as convenient as standing there waiting for that tiny hose To fill the top. you will want to Raise the machine off the floor of the tub. people show it being sat down directly into the tub. however with this size machine that means the electrical Parts of the machine are just four inches above the water. if you should have a backup in the tub you could have an electrical emergency and if you didn't notice you could be electrocuted. I used an exercise step. one of those heavy plastic ones with rubber grips on the bottom. I also used a Velcro twisty to secure the junction of the extension cord and the machine cord High enough so that the electrical cord in the bathtub would never touch the water or get rained on. I draped it over a doorknob and used the velcro to secure it So that it couldn't slide in either direction. I did not find that the filter is removable and the instruction books don't describe how it is. it doesn't have a little latch that pops it out like some models Nor does it have pain in the **** screws to undo like other models. the plastic panel holding the little cylinder and netting Pops up and down as though it should let go At some point in that up and down vertical slide but it never does. i've tried wiggling and everything with a flashlight and a very inconvenient and uncomfortable body angle And can't find any way that it would let go. the water lines indicating low medium and high are also not visible with a flashlight even with my head down in the drum. and unlike the giant Tex version, the hose can't be moved from one side of the machine to the other just by tilting the machine on its back. the hose in this case is bolted inside the machine Next to the working parts of the motor and there's no way that you could open it without voiding your warranty and perhaps putting yourself in danger When you tried to use it again later. Those three factors Are enough to make me choose another brand of machine. and I certainly would choose a model that had improvements. if I were able to lift A bigger size I would put it on rollers and purchase the next size up. not a 40 pound machine which would actually need at least a hall closet or little ante room to itself similar to a small utility room. but the 26th or 28 pound size would allow me to wash a few pairs of jeans Or a small blanket or a queen size set of sheets easily. this machine does hold a single set of full size sheets at once Or several shirts and two or three pairs of underwear or A couple of bath towels and a washcloth or two. for each wash load you will need to spin 3 smaller loads. I don't think it's necessary to spin Each load dry after washing it before rinsing it. you could turn on the drain pump and turn your fill water back on and just let it rinse periodically Turn off the drain let some water in slosh a little bit by turning the timer on And then let it drain some more. all of those things involve a lot of babysitting of the machine. if you're not doing anything else, if you are diapering the baby or Listening to a talking book or doing dishes then none of these things feel like work or a hassle. if the alternative would be hand washing and hand wringing clothes this will seem like a party. not only am I never going to hand wash something steadily sloshing for 15 minutes but I'll never be able to get clothes wrung out so well that everything but blue jeans and towels is dry in an hour or two. so if you have baby clothes or medical garments or lingerie that must be hand washed having the smallest version of this machine might be just exactly perfect. And if you have the biggest one and a space to put it in then you could actually not mind the work at all if that meant you never had to go to the laundromat until your comforter and rugs need to be washed. One serious quality control issue: The agitator-motor was installed at a light angle, not perpendicular to the floor of the washer drum. It doesn't seem to be rubbing, but that should have been caught, not sold. I should return it, but as they probably count on, it's too much trouble for the cost/longer wait. I expect it to wear out sooner. We'll see. ... show more
