A friend gave me an extra pair that he was not wearing 5 years ago. I instantly was blown away with the clarity, comfort, and how well they cut through the water glare. I am a fisherman and will buy these over and over again. I bought this pair after an unfortunate spill on my kayak and the original pair I had went for a swim. My bad, I didn't have my floating strap on them. I have been wearing these since. I broke a lens on these buy steeping on them. My bad. I sent my glasses to Costa and for a small fee they fixed my glasses quickly and got them back to me. It almost seemed like they replaced them entirely. The picture included is a current picture of them today. I believe they are over two years old and not a scratch on the lenses. They have been dropped and kicked. The glass lenses hold up to scratches very well. They are expensive, but well worth the investment! ... show more

Saltbreak tortoise with green mirror 580G came as advertised, I was a bit leery due to the low price and widespread counterfeiting in the sunglasses industry, but have little doubt about them being authentic. I live the sunglasses , however the ONLY thing I'm not crazy about is the high gloss finish on the frames . The photos of the frame gives the appearance that the frames are matte finish . Other than that , I'm very happy with the sunglasses. So , for future customers out there , if you are looking for a matte finish in this design, you will not receive matte finish . You will receive high glass SHINY frames. As a product photographer, it is now apparent that dulling spray was used on the frames , as to not get lenses flare . ... show more

Costa used to be the best sunglasses you could buy for fishing. But in 2019 they sold out to Luxottica, same brand that makes every cheap over priced brand of sunglasses you can name. They fit great and are super clear. The 580G green mirrored lenses are like viewing the world in HD. Can't wait to try them out this weekend fishing for Florida beach tarpon on the fly! Anxious to see how they hold up over time.
