  • Fit and quality

  • Inferior product
Color: Matte Black/Blue Mirror 580g Lens Width: 62 Millimeters
I purchased these new in July to replace a pair that I had for years. Unfortunately they only made it three months before the frame broke while putting them on. For what they want to charge you and the terrible warranty (they offered to repair them for 140$)as they were “out of warranty”. I would highly recommend going with a pair of gatorz as they are superior workmanship and glass and also come with a lifetime warranty that they actually honor, no questions asked ... show more

They said, scratch resistant, but dropped them and got a chip in the glass so not very durable.

  • It isn't a warranty at all
Color: Matte Black/Blue Mirror 580g Lens Width: 62 Millimeters
Now on my 4th pair. Last pair just cracked putting them on. Dropped a pair on the table and cracked in same place. That's like 600 bucks. The warranty is something like if you can prove that we did something wrong and send us the glasses and a couple hundred dollars maybe we will do something for you. Costa's are nice sunglasses and I prefer due to saltwater spray. I will find another maker. It wasn't an ego thing for me. I fish. ... show more

  • Totally legit
Color: Matte Black/Blue Mirror 580g Lens Width: 62 Millimeters
So I picked these up on Amazon prime day for $132.00. I’ve always wanted these and actually tried them on at a Costa retailer, but the original price of $279 had made me wait so I couldn’t say no to this. I decided to do the try before you buy because I wasn’t 100% sure that they were authentic and other members of my family own Costas and bought them from the retailer direct said they would know as soon as they saw them. Me on the other hand trust no one and know how good people are at counterfeiting, and there are very small details that can be left out or distorted that identify the item as fake. The packaging it arrived in, was clearly marked and looked how it should. It came with the warranty card written in like 30 different languages a thank you card,Costa sticker and blue cleaning cloth. So far it looked pretty good, but I was still skeptical. I went on. YouTube did some research, read reviews and went to the actual website to compare what I received. Authentic Costas will have 580P for the polycarbonate lenses in 580 for the glass engraved at the top left corner of the glasses in the left lens. There should be four raised Cs on the tail of the earpiece to keep them from slipping off. The word costa should be in raised letters on the right inside arm along with Tuna Alley. The patent number, model., and size information will also be printed in a string of numbers on the left arm of the glasses Mine had all of this. But still not 100% convinced I called Costa directly to verify that these were authentic and Costa confirmed that they most definitely are. Some models will say made in Italy, like mine does on the right arm next to the race coaster insignia. She told me that some of them do actually have that as the company was purchased in 2014 by a French company called Essilor that merged with an Italian company called Luxottica in 2018. (so if you see made in Italy on your pear, don’t worry it’s been confirmed that that is legitimate, as some assembly is done there, but the frames and lenses are manufactured in the United States) They’re have been questions about the warranty not being valid or limited, but she assured me that if they are an authentic pair of coasters, then it does not matter where they were purchased, and the warranty is in effect for them, which is a limited two year warranty for manufacturer defects if they were purchased after 2018. The warranty for all of their products no matter where purchased (again, as long as they are authentic)does not cover wear and tear or scratched lenses. If the glasses are deemed to have been damaged due to faulty manufacturing they will be exchanged free of charge. I am very pleased, knowing that this purchase was not only a great deal, but an authentic product. Customer service at Costa was very helpful and thanked me for purchasing them even though I didn’t get it direct I took these out on the water yesterday to try them out and I could see, the pin fish stealing my bait. That’s a first because all the time I thought I was just getting bites and missing them. Lol I hope this long winded review helps an answered questions that I know many of you had! ... show more

I needed a pair of sunglasses for our trip to the Grand Canyon. They shipped fast and they are nice, however they are a little on the large side for me. They do filter out the light really well, but I look like a binocular nerd.

  • Not Worth $200 +
Color: Matte Black/Blue Mirror 580g Lens Width: 62 Millimeters
The lenses are amazing, exactly what I needed for fish work. Everything else is extremely cheap. The rubber broke apart and fell off long ago. The frame broke from a simple fall from 3 ft. I didn't expect indestructible but I did expect sturdiness worthy of $200.

  • Not authentic Costa
Color: Matte Black/Blue Mirror 580g Lens Width: 62 Millimeters
Glasses are very nice but not authentic Costa. Costa box had two different product labels. One stated Red and other stated Black. Etching on lens should state either 580g for glass lens (which I ordered) or 580P for plastic lens. Etching on pair sent states 580 but no designation for glass or plastic. ... show more
