These coins arrived in a velvet like pouch in a plastic bag altogether.. Pretty nice collection.. yes I did get doubles of some coins like some reviews said but thats ok.. HOWEVER... Keep in mind these are circulated coins!! Get prepared to get your hands filthy from just handling them as these coins are dirty has heck.. Just going through them, my fingers started turning black! ewww! So, I ended up soaking and rinsing the coins in palmolive and hot water to break away the filth.. didnt want to use any harsh chemicals to damage the coins...then rinsed them off real good in hot water.. then wiped them down with microfiber cloths.. and ewww!! I must have went through like 6 total microfiber cloths to get them clean.. and it turned the cloths black in spots!! Then i let them set out overnight on a microfiber towel to dry them out. But the coins became cleaner than they were before and shinier.. I also separated the coins into different plastic bags before i put them back into the velvet bag.. One bag for copper coins, one for brass looking coins, and one for nickel looking coins. I am pleased with the purchase though overall!! ... show more

I'm very pleased with what i got from this purchase. I'm not a coin i enthusiasts necessarily i dont study this stuff. From what i know about antiques and metals. This is a good selection and very much authentic coinage. I got no repeats and all of them came in good condition for the most part. One of the older ones is a bit beat up, but thats to be expected. I used to Flitz polish to clean them up real nice. Its a very gentle poshish but is also very effective at removing stains and tarnish with out harming the surface of the coin its amazing. The photo is just of some of the one i got and shined up. Already got a second bag coming in the mail. Highly recommend 👌 ... show more

There were definitely some neat coins that we received, however, we were disappointed that what we received was not as the seller had advertised and there were not 50 coins. LISTING VS ACTUALLY RECEIVED: - “50 coins” - - Actually only received 47 (The center ONLY of a Canadian toonie was in the bag as well) - “Each coin different” - - Actually less than half were, with up to 6 and 7 of the same coin (see photo) *Noting that, though repeats, they were at least different years. - “Most pre-2000” - - In actuality, only around a dozen were pre 2000, with most being post and as recent as 2020. The oldest coin in the bag was from 1949, though. In total, of the coins received, only 6 of the coins were pre-2000 AND were not repeats. That being said, the repeats were different years, so maybe some collectors would welcome the repeats if they’re trying to collect a variety of years. The different ones we did receive were interesting to see, however. ... show more

I have purchased two of these bags of coins as fun gifts! My husband absolutely loved his! My son in law was so happy with his! Both of them had SO MUCH FUN with their coins! Some readers may know that it's taking a chance buying coins this way with barely readable dates and writing. All coins in this order were in good to very good shape (not attempting to grade here). All dates and writing were intact and easy to read. The variety was good, with around thirty different countries. For those from the same country, there were no duplicates. The date range was from 1929 to 2017, so don't expect them all to be bright and shiny. ... show more
