Description

The ZZ Plant features glossy rich-green leaves that can almost appear fake. It grows best near a sunny window. From a sunny window to fluorescent office lights, the ZZ Plant is wonderfully tolerant of a wide range on conditions. Whether you're able to give it steady care, travel a lot, or just get distracted by all the stresses of daily life, ZZ plant survives it all. Water when the soil is dry (about once a month) and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately 2-3 cups of water, adjust as needed for your environment. The height is approximately 2-foot (22 Inches) tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The ZZ Plant is a slow grower and is hardy in USDA Zones 10-12. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for house plants. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the ZZ Plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. The plant came in the UPS truck. The new growth was burned and looks sad. I have been buying this ZZ plant from Costa Farms and the plants always looked great, healthy and full. The ZZ plant I got yesterday was damaged and about 1/3 of the size plants in the pot. Not happy with the plant. I payed $15.00 more for this last plant from just 3 months ago. Not happy. Thought I had a great place to order plants. Not so sure now. UPDATE on the ZZ plant. I contacted Costa Farms and sent them a picture of the plant that was damaged. So happy to say that they sent me a replacement plant in just a few days. This new plant was absolutely gorgeous. In the hot days of summer here in Texas, I think the best way to get a plant is to have it shipped thru FedEx two day. When I received the new plant it was standing tall and not curled to one side and damaged due to the heat. I will be ordering all my future plants thru Costa Farms and if needed, I will pay a little extra for shipping. Thank you Costa Farms for caring about your customers. So happy with it! It looks great on the floor and adds a touch of greenery. I have north facing windows in my apartment and wanted a plant that wouldn’t need direct sunlight. I received this plant two weeks ago when I open the box the plant was half pot and a half out of its pot, its roots. We’re hanging out of the pot, and the planting soil was all over the bottom of the box. The pot it was placed in was too small so needless to say, I had to immediately replant the ZZ plant in a larger pot. I sent pictures to Costa farms and I called Customer Service. They told me to fill out the form that’s on the web which I did, I still haven’t heard from them and that was two weeks ago as you can see there are leaves turning yellow and some of the leaves have a brown spot on them. I am very very disappointed not only with the plant, but with the Customer Service, I have ordered things from them before and I’ve been happy , if something must’ve changed within the company because their quality standards are not up to par. I really don’t want a refund I would like a plant replacement, and I would be happy to send this one back. *****My problem has been resolved, Customer service came through!! Very happy. ... show more
