Description

Devil's Ivy Pothos features assorted, green foliage. The Devil's Ivy Pothos is great for small spaces. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place Devil's Ivy Pothos in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1/2 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Devil's Ivy Pothos sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 8-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Devil's Ivy Pothos ships in a black, 4-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. The Devil's Ivy Pothos is a fast grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Devil's Ivy Pothos, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Recently, I took the plunge and ordered a live plant on Amazon.com. I never had a green thumb and didn't like the childhood chore I had of watering all of my mother's many green houseplants. However, after reading reviews and checking out the nursery's website, I ordered the Pothos plant and have been a very happy "plant parent" - yes, the website actually uses this term- ever since then. It is one of the easier plant species to grow indoors, is draught tolerant, and grows quickly. Cuttings can be sprouted into smaller pots for plant propagation or gift giving. Moreover, this species is a known air purifier, which is helpful to folks like me who are indoor types, breathing air whose quality isn't as fresh as outdoor is. The website of the grower offers 7 day a week technical support for all of its purchasers, and I couldn't be happier with the nicely growing decorative plant. I placed it in a beautiful painted pot designed by Dee Drummond of Pioneer Woman fame. It sits on a wooden lazy-Susan atop of the table situated in my dining alcove at home. My dining alcove is lighted by a centered Bay window, and when I clean up the table (LOL) it is a very inviting feature. When I bought these, I anticipated that there would be some kind of issue with the plants and just crossed my fingers that I'd be able to recover them. I was gladly surprised when they came in that the packaging was absolutely amazing, they were so full and I only had 2 dead leaves which I trimmed off when I reported them the next day. They are now so much bigger and they are growing beautifully, I was even able to propagate two of then so I can get a rounder look to have one of them hanging, beautiful root system and the soil was still moist due to how well they wrapped up the plant. I plan on buying more from Costa Farms because of this one good experience, so thank you! ... show more

This Company Is AMAZING.... When I Placed thos order I was aprehensive about what I would Receive for the price I paid...... When This Arrived I Opened It and Audibly Gasp..... I pulled The Pot Out and It was Wrapped Very Well and The Plant..... Well..... The Day It Arrived It Immediately Bacame 5 Plants.... Recently I've ordered quite a few plants from Costa Farms--several aloes of various sizes, a dieffenbachia, a Chinese Evergreen. All were healthy and beautiful, looking better than the same plants at my local family-owned garden store, and at half the price! I've been delighted overall with the quality of the Costa Farms plants. So I ordered a couple of pothos to round out my collection. Oddly, these were underwhelming--surprising, since pothos are so easy to grow and almost unkillable! The leaves were a bit dull, and each plant had at least one brown, wilted leaf--which, upon replanting, I discovered were cuttings just stuck in the dirt, with no roots. I found that to be somewhat chintzy. Overall, the plants did seem to have root systems (?), and I've repotted them with fresh soil and some worm castings to perk them up. Overall verdict is that the plants are probably okay, and probably worth the price. That said, I might recommend picking out your pothos locally, even if it's a few bucks more, so you can be sure to get a real plant with a real root system. I have updated my review with a photo of the fourth rootless cutting I removed from the plants since I received them a few days ago. That aspect is just really deceptive and not okay. ... show more

The vase maybe smaller than expect. I was worried about not having a perforated vase . But the pant comes with 2 containers 1 is perforated black growing vase, while the other one is the fancy white one that you seen in the description pictures. So thanks for that.
