Not sure this is a legit Costa hat. Label was not sewed on straight, hat feels cheap compared to the others I've purchased at Lid's or other Costa retailers. It looks good otherwise, but I have that feeling it's not a copy. I buy a lot of hats and I can feel the difference in copy and the real deal. I like the hat and have received positive comments from my buddies. The sizing is adjusted by a velcro strap in the back. I rated this one 4 stars because the sizing seems a little on the larger size. I wear medium hats, helmets, headwear and while this mostly fits, it sits too low in my ears causing them to pushed out slightly. Not so much though that my buddies commented on that, but I noticed it. After wearing the hat for one day it caused a little irritation spot on the back of my ear. I'm hoping to wear my ears in like I would a new pair of shoes on my feet. Just gotta get used to something new. ... show more

This is a fine hat if it fits you. I don't think I have an abnormal head, but this hat fits big on me. Not big around, but big as in how far it comes down on my head. The hat comes down and touches where my ears meet my head so it pushes out the tops of my ears and makes sunglasses uncomfortable. This is my boyfriend’s favorite hat, so I got it for him in another color. He loves that the adjustment in the back is velcro because then he can make it so it fits him perfectly. It’s low-profile, and the back is mesh. The red is very bright and shiny which looks nice. He wears this everywhere.

Received today. Logo is bright red, beautifully stitched. BUT the "blue" is more grey than anything. Looks like a pair of country worn denim jeans and very wrinkly for a hat. Still a good one, just not what I expected from the pictures. 3.5/5 stars

It’s 4/5 for me just for color. It’s not a true “slate blue”, but more of a “washed gray”. Great hat thought! It also has a Velcro back, FYI.
