  • Important if you have LL120s already
Color: Black Style: QL120 Triple Pattern Name: PWM Triple Fan
These look great and perform great like the LL120s, but with one major issue. They don't run very well if you attach them as fan 4-6 on your corsair lighting node. I did that, and not all fan lights turned on the QLs, even though the LLs were working fine. That being said, I did eventually get them all (3 QLs and 3 LLs) to work on only one node. To do this, I attached the QLs as fans 1-3 on the node and removed the LLs completely and set the node to only three fans. I then reattached all 3 LL fans one at a time while simultaneously increasing the number of fans present on the software. With the LLs set as fans 4-6, everything syncs well and works. The LLs are a slightly different hue of blue than the LLs, though. So if you are looking to mix and match fans, be aware that they may look off when side by side. In the pics, the top fans are Thermaltake riing trios. The bottom and back fans are QLs, and the front fans are LLs. The corsair fans have two cables each while the Thremaltake fans have only one. The Thermaltake set up and software are both way easier to deal with, so go for them if you are on the fence between Riing trios and QL 120s. I will attach pictures of the Riing trios and the QLs so you can compare. The corsair central node looks better, but the Thermaltakes have a much easier and cleaner set up. ... show more

  • RGB Cult that Corsair created
Color: Black Style: QL120 Triple Pattern Name: PWM Triple Fan
Its Corsair Its RGB ITS VERY EXPENSIVE And dont kid ourselves you want this for the RGB. This uses the same LED cable to one box and fan driven by 4pin method like the LL120 The RGB is basically 2 LL120 on top of each other. Its seperated into top and bottom (or front and rear depend on how you mount it) zones which can be individually controlled. And we all know corsair makes one of the best and heaviest (in terms of computer resourses) control software. So i think if you need to read the review before thinking if you want it, you probably don't. And if u are hopelessly devoted into the RGB Cult that corsair xreated, you will buy regardless. ... show more

  • Tad exp QC and performance issues. 6 fans. Not a single logo is centered while spinning.
Color: Black Style: QL120 Triple Pattern Name: PWM Triple Fan
BEST RGB FAN ON THE MARKET. Still here? Ok. Real world performance review. Negative issues first. They are 100% case fans only. They suck as radiator fans. Very poor static pressure and fairly useless at low RPM. The mounting screws are useless. 6 fans and not a single fancy metal logo was even close to being centered on the fan side. Odd since these are all about bling. Get ready to restick all of them. You will need to make a shroud to close the gaps for radiator use. Again. These are all about bling not performance. Fairly loud at needed RPM to get good airflow. They feel way more expensive after intall and testing. I was going to replace 12 fans on 2 radiators (push/pull) but only replaced the visual fans with these. 3 on bottom rad and three on top. Keeping my very old TT-1225 Ring fans as push on the bottom tad and pull on the top rad. They can run slower and with lower DB and more CFM as they are sealed on the rad. 6 QLs were loud on both sides and while it looked awesome It was not worth the performance drop. Pros They do look awesome. Amazing RGB system and the wires are really long. They are in a Phanteks enthoo primo and I could put the fans and controller anywhere I wanted. Easy to install and setup. Hours and hours of RGB programming will be fun. That's a positive for me. Have a good RGB idea? You can program it here. In the end it's the bling that landed me here and while ICUE can fight back now and again I decided to go all Corsair in the end to see how it turns out. Keyboard, PWsup and these QLs will soon have 10 more Corsair fans(not QLs) and the RGB CPU Block. At a lower price point these would gain a star but as it stands the parts Corsair rave about to justify the price fall a bit short with QC (poor off centered metal logo) and bling over performance with air gaps. That said they do look amazing! ... show more

  • RGB as far as the eyes can see
Color: Black Style: QL120 Triple Pattern Name: PWM Triple Fan
I have installed quite a few fans and previously had thought, for RGB, that the LL series from Corsair was impressive but after working with the QL series I would have to say that there is not a better RGB fan on the market today than the QL series fans from Corsair. Where to begin? First there is an incredible number of LEDs in the QL series. 34 to be exact. That is not where this ends though. Unlike most RGB fans, these 34 LEDs are in 4 different zones. You have the same number of LEDs on each side so it does not matter if they are setup to intake or exhaust you will see the light from BOTH sides. The zones also include the center ring as well as the outer ring. EACH LED is addressable so you can make every single led bulb a different color. This is far beyond the ability of ANY fan that I have ever seen or even heard about. There are far more choices in iCue for these fans with 21 Predefined 5 custom and 11 lighting link choices and every choice has the full RGB spectrum to choose from. The iCue picture I posted shows how simple it is to change the color of every single LED. The fans feel solid and well crafted. They perform flawlessly. ... show more

  • Super Color for your Pro Computer Build
Color: Black Style: QL140 Single Pattern Name: PWM Triple Fan
The media could not be loaded. Love these fans. They look so good!! If you are into the Corsair ecosystem like I am. Doing the wiring is a bit of a nightmare. There is one thing all builders should look out for and that is how much air you want your fans to move. I did not look into that with these fans and they need to ramp up very high to move any real air. The Asus case fans I took out move in the 90s CFM. These are in the 50s. So be careful. BUT THEY LOOK HOT!! ... show more
