There’s not much to say about such a simple item except it does exactly what it’s supposed to. Every time I look at it though and recall the price I paid I begin to question my life choices. There are cheaper options out there but I had to have Corsair to go with my Corsair case /facepalm

I purchased this to mount my GPU vertically in my Corsair 4000x Case. At least for the Gygabyte 3070 Master, the mounting holes in the case do not line up with the vertical slot mounts. It looks like the holes on this PCIe Extender are on the wrong side. This could be a flaw in my case. This extension is nearly 2 times longer than it really needs to be. I was able to set the card completely outside of the case on my table and still have this plugged in. It might not be an issue for some, but it really makes the cable management of it difficult if you don't make it "S" properly. I'll update with a picture soon if I'm able. ... show more

Worked great with my 980 but discovered it will NOT work with the 3080Ti. I gave this a good review because it does work fantastic with earlier GPUs but the new ones are too much for it.

    • Oh well I guess it looked cool.
Immediately caused graphic issues with my 1080 TI and my Coursera 5000x RGB case. Airflow was not any good because the fans are sucked up against the glass. It started causing hangups and artifacting about 20 minutes in the gaming. Immediately went away when I put the card back in the board.

    • $60, and they cant include screws or spacers?
The spare MOBO standoffs i have are too short for this thing. When i hook the GPU into the vertical IO slots and attempt to seat it, the front sags downward and the back will not fully seat. This thing is $60 and they couldnt bother to include a few taller stand off screws? I literally have the 5000x case this is specifically designed for and im having this issue.     • A bit longer than expected, but I love the look of it.
As the Headline states. It looks/feels premium as can be expected from corsair, but is longer than I expected. I didnt actually bother to measure how long of a riser I need from my pcie slot, so I encourage anyone who buys this to take out a measuring tape, and check before you buy.

Doesn't line up properly in Corsair's own 4000X case. Besides that the cable works great. Just wish it fit properly
