While by nature these wires are more for decoration, they do their job of connecting the various parts of your computer. My biggest problem, besides cost, with them is their length. Realizing Corsair must make them to fit the largest case they are fine for a full-tower computer case. On the other hand, try using them in a mini/micro style case. There is so much wire and so little space to store it. When we build the computers we like the finished product to be pleasing to the eye. If the case has extensive glass sides, as many do, there is no pleasing way for the eye to pack these great lengths of cable. They already have different costs for different colors - which I assume is a marketing/demand function, but why not make a long set (these) and a shorter set which would eliminate the length issue if you want them for a smaller case? Now, when building with a smaller case, we default to having them custom made, usually in China, to our specs. While the cost is close to these the delivery is a real problem getting them from China - usually 4-5 weeks. Corsair, or others could do a good business in "semi-custom" cables if they would only realize that a smaller case needs shorter cables. ... show more

If you have the gen5 Corsair power supply, these will NOT fit. the connectors to the PSU are too big. I got it for the Corsair RM850x Shift but retured when I saw the connectors. If you have the prior gen, these are amazing.

I’m building in a phanteks eclipse p600s Huge case. If I use the cable that came with my stuff nothing will reach. These cables are long enough and great quality. Completely stretched out about 27inches. I probably won’t need all that but the leg room is great. After I’m done I’ll show the original cables and probably what the build but I don’t care to make it pretty so you might not care to see ... show more

The cables are very nice and they are plug and play with the RM 850x Corsair Power supply. It was also easy to manipulate each wire to the length I wanted. Only problem was the extra cable length I has to hide.

Great cables work as they should but man was I disappointed that I STILL had to use the ugly Nvidia power adapter for the 3070. It does not come included in this pack but hey my own fault for not reading I suppose. Other than that more than enough cables for anything you need 1 star off since corsair should consider getting that custom 3070 cables in this color of blue not just in black because I would buy it immediately ... show more

Overall it’s really good but if you have a motherboard that requires two CPU 8 pins then this kit in not for you. Unfortunately I’m currently running one stock ugly cable and one beautiful cable from the kit.
