  • You get what you pay for.
Color: Black Size: 360mm Radiator
This got the full five stars save installation. That depends on your computer case, space, orientation, processor and experience. Existing systems, you're more than likely pulling out your motherboard. That said, Corsair provides you more than enough hardware for installation. Intel LGA 1700 hardware comes standard, as does older Intel, AMD and Thread Ripper. Corsair even includes the hardware in the box do do a push/pull radiator setup (which I did). So no trips to the hardware store looking for extra screws etc. Required connections: One pin (either pump or cpu fan) on motherboard used as a 'tach' wire to show the motherboard there is a cooler installed. On the motherboard USB connection (requires two but cooler comes with a USB splitter cable meaning you need only occupy one USB motherboard connection. Finally a SATA power connector, all three of which connections are present in most all even semi-modern computers. The Pump and three fans are run by an included commander module which can operate RGB and RPMs of up to six fans. Three fans are included with the kit for the radiator. These are magnetic levitation fans, meaning no bearings. This means no bearings, less noise, better RPM slew and quieter. IE the fan is 100 percent indepenant from the fan chassis. Corsair's free software ICUE is a must to control the RGB and the screen on the waterblock. The screen is very clear, supports .gif(s) and .jpeg(s). I have mine set to monitor CPU and GPU temp but all of this is easily changed should you like to set up lighting/performance profiles in the software. NOTE: The software seems a bit resource heavy and is a little tricky for beginners, but you're not going to blow anything up. Running the ICUE software is not required for this pump and fans to throttle/operate (as the motherboard can control them) but HIGLY recommended. I'd call it a MUST. If not, you're just wasting money. I include that because in the event the software fails, or something else goes wrong, the cooler will still function properly. NOTE: I found cable length for all connections to be more than long enough for a nice clean look in what I'd call a large mid-tower case (Corsair 5000D). Thermal paste is included pre-applied on the water block, and my previous experiences with Corsair's factory paste are good. This stuff I rubbed off and used Thermal Grizzly instead. Not a required step, but some of the best compound out there. So to the primary point, HOW WELL DOES IT COOL? Well it's not the best out there, but HARDLY the worst. It's in the bounds of a top tier cooler with only a few being better, and those that are, are not by much (a degree or 2) and around the same price with far less features. Results may vary (everyone's case cooling is different), but with an overclocked Intel I7, 13700k I am running near ambient room temperature at idle (27-30C) and under Prime 95 (pretty much the hardest stress test you can give a CPU around 86C after 15-20 minutes. Those temperatures, to keep it simple, are VERY good temperatures to see on a chip that is know to run on the hotter side of things even without an overclock. It's a quiet cooler with a lot of features, and easy to install, again depending on your case and experience. If you do not have experience building computers I would NOT recommend trying to install this yourself, but then, I'd say the same for any other cooler. Have someone that knows what they're doing help you, better yet help and teach you. ... show more

  • Super Chill
Color: Black Size: 360mm Radiator
It's ridiculously expensive - even on sale - YES It's more complicated on the install - YES There are a TON of wires and pieces to manage and configure - YES Can cause issues with clearance for Top mount with CPU power cables and MOBO VRM - YES However, this is worth it - idles my I9 in the mid 20C range, even at load it doesn't go over 60C max, normally around low 50s. Upgraded from a 240mm rad and it dropped things at least 5-6C on average and it runs a lot quieter. It is quiet (with the 3 included AF120 RGB Elite fans, set to push, top exhaust). I have this over a RTX 4070 dual in a 5000D Airflow RGB case with 3 front, 3 side and 2 bottom intakes, 1 back exhaust). LEDs are bright and beautiful. iCue may be a slight pain at times, but it works with some initial time input and learning. Lots of customization available. I did have to really fight to get this top mounted with the fans as Push as it was not clearing the 2 CPU power cables on the MOBO - had to reroute them to push the cables towards the back of the case and out the side instead of just up and over the gap at top of case. Its not the most ideal, but it works flawlessly - whisper quiet - no pump or coil whine as I had heard before. Have the pump intake facing down, not towards the side like they want. Its confusing how to hook up at first, but the 4 pin header on the LCD screen itself should go to you CPU fan input on the MOBO instead of AIO port or the the BIOS will not detect a CPU fan and freak out. The other two cables go to the top of the included Commander Core and to a USB 2.0 port. It includes a splitter so you can plug both the LCD portion and the Commander Core into the same USB 2,0 header on the MOBO, the Core can handle up to 6 PWM fans AND the RGB - so this is nice from a control aspect if you don;'t want to manage them from the BIOS. This thing is pricey, but it works well and you aren't looking at this if you are on a serious budget anyway. Recommended for that high-end build ... show more

  • Beautiful, Powerful, Feature-Rich, More than you'll need!
Color: Black Size: 420mm Radiator
I didn't know how big this thing really was until I opened the box. It now has 6 fans mounted to it and is cooling my CPU like an ice cube. Easy to install? Not really! Its big, bulky and has a ton of options and fan wires coming off of it. If you've never installed a Liquid Cooling Solution, take your time. It'll pay off in the end! ... show more

  • Wow! Red Tringle of Death seen immediately!
Color: Black Size: 360mm Radiator
I'm an idiot. I read the reviews, I saw the RTOD (red triangle of death) as being an common issue. I decided to roll the dice anyway. I am now regreting thta decision. I moved my components to a new case and added Corsair AIO LCD. I see lights, great I have power! I press the start button and nothing. fans flicker for a brief second and then everything is quiet. I spend the next two hours painstakenly going through each component, every cable, disconnecting everything, trying a single DIMM, removing the video card, unplugging all USB connections except for the AIO. Still, the same problem, it won't boot but has power. No Q codes, no warning LEDs, nothing, but RGB is on and start button is lit up. Finally, I unplug the 20 pin connector from the corsair hub as a last resort and bam! PC boots, but since I have no cooling, I check BIOS and CPU temp is already at 90c, so I shut it off. I try to plug it back in, re-seat the LCD screen, same problem. I remove the 20 pin connector again, PC boots. So take it from another chump, this product is terrible and literally prevented my PC from booting, probably due to a short between the connector and hub. I have issued an RMA and now trying to think what AIO I want to try. So annoying! ... show more

  • Love it! Low noise, startup is satisfying!
Color: White Size: 360mm Radiator
This is my first build ever so I don’t have much to say other than physically, it looks great! Only thing I would say is it’s a little weird setting up the lights/LCD display for it on iCue, but I think that’s just bad UI, not a bad AIO!
