abunda_amazon_reviews So you're like me. You're in the market for a 280mm radiator, maybe to top mount, maybe to front mount, and you think to yourself "Corsair makes some of the best AIO's I'll buy their latest release!" You come onto the store page and are a little confused, the reviews seemed mixed, something about screws? You read the reviews and chuckle to yourself, these guys must have no idea what they're doing. Screws? I can handle a couple of screws. I've built PC's before, I've even worked in IT. I've taken apart more and worked on more PC's and laptops than I can even count. I'm not going to let a little thing like screws dissuade me. Oh boy are you in for a surprise. I'm a grown man and I've been building PC's for over 10 years. I have never had such a hard time installing something that should be so easy. I'm pretty sure I've got blisters forming on what used to be my hands from trying to get this thing screwed in. The holes are drilled but there are no threads. You cut the threads by screwing the screws in. I highly recommend one of those rubber soda bottle opener type things to improve your grip because without it you are going to slip, strip, and curse your way through a two hour install. I'm talking I had to stand up and lean on that screwdriver to get these things in. As much of my body weight as I could apply and as much of my strength as I could muster. Every quarter turn a victory, every screw a celebration. There is basically a 0% chance of installing the thing in the case without preparation. Instead screw the fans and rad screws in first. At the very least get them started. Take them back out and then worry about screwing them back in a second time while trying to hold the radiator in place with one hand. I did it alone, but a second pair of hands would also make the installation a little bit easier. Anyways, that's all. Godspeed and best of luck to you fellow PC enthusiast. This is one of the most expensive coolers in its class. I received it and it took me half a day to replace an existing cooler. After everything is done, the LEDs on the pump don't light up. I called Corsair customer service and the lame response is to reinstall their software. Beyond that, there is no help a day after the support ticket is filed. At this point, I am not sure I want to keep it or even get a replacement. This is the latest iteration of their cooler providing an update to the RGB LEDs on the pump/cooling block that goes on the processor. You can individually change the color of the LEDs on the block and have other swirling patterns. You also have full control of the AIO through iCUE when it comes to fan speed and pump monitoring. Amazon might be trying to push old inventory which is why this doesn't show up if you go to the Corsair manufacturer amazon link. This cooler is awesome. I have a Ryzen R9 3900X and with all cores boosted it does not exceed 55C at full load. The configuration the manufacturer recommends is to have them pull air into the case through the radiator. Make sure that depending on if your goal is to have a positive or negative pressured case that you exhaust appropriately. I have mine mounted at the top of the case and as positively pressured since i have a husky and hair and dirt can be a problem getting into the case if i didn't have it configured this way. Lessons Learned: My LEDs were not initially working when I installed the cooler. The internal USB connection is for pump and LED control only and does not power the LEDs. The pump and fans are powered off of a single SATA power connector. For ease of installation and cable management I utilized one of the open molex connections that was available from a drive power run and used a molex to Sata power adapter. The Fans and Pump are most likely powered off of the 12V rail. With this configuration you only have 5V and 12V available and not 3.3V. I ran a direct SATA connection from my power supply and the LEDs are fully functioning now as it proved they run off the 3.3V rail. So make sure to use an actual SATA power connection and no molex to SATA power adapters to power this AIO.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;This is the new 2020 Version of this AIO!;;Gregory D.;;;I had an older H100 when I was running an AMD FX-8320 (AM3+ socket) and loved it, but when I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 2700 (AM4 socket) I decided to upgrade my cooler too, the tubs leading from the pupmp to the radiator are nice and flexible, long too. But the tools for installing on an AM4 socket is a pain.
