  • 4.0 out of 5 stars OK for a ok pump tank combo
Pattern Name: Combo
OK for a ok pump tank combo great flow but seams cheaply made.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars don't be to rough when cleaning and don't use chemicals.
Pattern Name: Combo
this is my second one and its great. my first one I took apart to clean my loop and I guess there was something in my soap because it instantly became cloudy. i then tried cleaning it with harsher things to get rid of the cloudy stains and nothing worked. I cleaned my whole loop at the same time with the same things and none of the other components did that so I'm not sure of the exact cause but the functionality is great and head pressure if good. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of ports
Pattern Name: Combo
Solid pump, quiet, and had plenty of ports for outputs...which is great for flushing.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Quiet, easy to set up
Pattern Name: Combo
Made my install very easy, as it comes with a mount, hardware, and even a temperature sensor which other pump/res’ you usually have to buy separately. It runs quiet, and has enough power for my loop. One con, the included philips screws to mount to a radiator only work with Corsair radiators as the diameter and thread pitch was different from my rads from another manufacturer, so if you’re going to mount it to a rad, check to make sure you have compatible hardware on hand. Other than that, for a basic to mid-level loop, I’d say this is the one. ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars I just wish it wasn't plastic
Pattern Name: Combo
Needed to replace a cracked pump/reservoir and went with this since it would reach me quickly. I could take or leave the RGB and dont even have it plugged into the header in my system. My biggest gripe I have seems to be what everyone else does, the threads for the fittings are plastic. It worries me if I ever need to replace them, such as if I decide to go back to hard tubing. It seems like I could very easily strip or cross thread them without realizing until it was too late. Other than that it seems like it's doing it's job well enough. I never hear the thing and it's able to circulate the water between my 2 360 rads, a 3080ti and an am4 waterblock just fine. ... show more

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars After I return the first unit and the second unit still not work!! but wait... the problems are.....
Pattern Name: Combo
why is the pump not working?? the problem is the XRD5 RGB cable was wired incorrectly .. the 2 pins in the plug are for 5V and the pump itself needs 12V to run ... so the pins are on the opposite side. Even the manual asks you to plug into the 5V from the motherboard, this is incorrect. it won't work. it needs 12V for the unit to run. good luck all! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Pattern Name: Combo
I bought the XC5 cpu block and XD5 pump together to replace my aio cooler. Cools far better even with the gpu also water cooled. Cheaper than EK with minor compromises. But the value can't be beat!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars A good pump and a good value
Pattern Name: Combo
What I like most about this pump is that it comes with all the hardware you’ll need to install it in a case. My last pump was cheaper, but buying the extra mounting hardware was a pain and expensive. I loved that this pump came with all the screws and mounting brackets. It’s near silent at lower speeds, but can get a little loud at higher speeds. I keep mine at about 20% except for when I’m trying to get air bubbles out of the system. It should be clear that this pump does NOT require the iCUE Commander Pro for basic operation. I believe the manual says it does but that’s not correct. The motherboard can control the pump speed and even set the LEDs to a solid color if you have the right RGP connector. The iCUE adds the ability to use the included water temperature sensor and it greatly increases the amount of RGB customization options. I enjoy using the water temp sensor to measure the performance of my system and to adjust radiator fan speed based on those temps rather than the CPU temp. ... show more
