  • Gorgeous Case
Color: Black
The 570X RGB is gorgeous. It is just as pretty in real life as you think it is. It is the sort of case that I want to display and show off to friends. It is definitely worth it to spend a little more and get the 570X as opposed to the slightly smaller 460X- granted, you'll need to have some cable management chops because the 570X has tempered glass on the backside, and depending on how you place the machine you will likely be able to see the sometimes ugly mess that poor cable management on the backside of a PC can create. However, the cable management itself was fairly straightforward. There are plenty of grommets and holes to run cables through and hide them where needed. This was my first PC build ever, and with no experience at all I was able to manage the cables fairly easily without frustration. My case looks good- others would be able to do better, I'm sure- but it look great to me. It isn't a mess and it looks nice and clean from the frontside. The back could be better but I dont really have the case angled to see it so I don't mind so much- it isn't that bad anyway. I have two minor, minor complaints, the first of which being that the cable shroud located on the backside of the case was a bit difficult to work with- it was difficult to screw in with all of the cables that need to be run through it. I wish they would have made the backside shroud just a little bit bigger. But this is a minor complaint and really not something you need to worry about, as you will likely not be unscrewing that shroud too often. Once you get the shroud on, it's on, and if you have to run another cable through it later... you could probably just barely unscrew it and make it happen that way. I just wish there was more room. Oh well. Five stars nonetheless. My second minor complaint would be that I think the dust covers (especially the one on the front) could have been designed better. I think they could have been designed in a way that would show off the front fans a bit better. This is a minor aesthetic complaint, though, as the dust covers themselves are high quality and actually are magnetic. As a result of this they are SUPER easy to snap off and put back on when cleaning. Overall, I think that for my first mid tower case/build I hit the nail on the head. This is a perfect case for someone who wants gorgeous tempered glass and a high quality case. The price is worth it here. I believe most people will be very satisfied with this product. Just be prepared to do a lot of wiping off finger print smudges with a microfiber cloth! ... show more

  • Great case with only a couple minor drawbacks
Color: Black
Overall I really like this case. It is has a beautiful aesthetic to it. It is well designed and all the tolerances are great. Nothing is misaligned when installing fans, motherboard, PSU, etc all the screws line up perfect. Materials feel great, the tempered glass is gorgeous. The metal is durable yet not too heavy, it is also perfectly powder coated no sign of raw metal anywhere. Cable management works pretty well but I do have some gripes. My main issues with the case is first of all why does it not come with the PSU shroud cover. I had to go to Corsair's website and order it for $14 ($4+$10 shipping). Come on Corsair this $4 part should be included with the case. Next is cable management. The back of the case is fully exposed with tempered glass so you can't hide your mess on the back like most cases. This can be a positive if you can get it looking perfect back there to show off your cable management skills. The problem is the channel that they give you to work with is too small to fit all the cables especially once you start adding stuff like case fans, fan controllers, and most of all individually sleeved power cables. The other thing is I wish the back glass was tinted a little darker to hide the cables more. Some people may not mind this if they are able to get their cables perfect with a thousand zip ties but for the normal person I would rather it just be tinted more so I don't have to worry about how it looks as much. Especially since I can't fit all my cables in the runner space. Edit: After 2 hours of intense cable management I was barely able to squeeze everything into the runner. And I mean barely. This took a lot of work and creativity with the cable runs. Now I am fine with the glass because I spent so much time working on my cables I want to show it off! Another positive is it comes with RGB fans. As well as a controls integrated into the case. This is pretty cool. Unfortunately since I decided to upgrade my fans to the LL120 series and use a Commander Pro to control them with software I cannot use the case buttons. For someone who just wants a basic RGB setup though the fans and controls it come with should be sufficient. Lastly, there is only 2 USB ports on the front. Only 2...and no 3.1 or front side USB-C. Not a deal breaker for me but for others it might be. This is 2018 it would have been nice to have a few extra front USB ports. My Antec case from 6 years ago has 2 USB ports on the front just like this does. In conclusion I definitely still recommend this case for someone who is looking for a nice tempered glass case to showoff their RGB fans and what not. I would give it like a 4.5 score but I rounded it up to 5. ... show more
