  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great watch!
Color: Lava
I've been wearing the vertix 2 for a year now and I'm really imprese with it's performance, the battery usually last about a month before having to charge it, the gps works excelent while doing runs outside in par with my garmins(Fenix 6x and tactix Delta), I also use the watch during my workouts and I found the rep counter to be more acurate than my garmins, I was really surprice when the watch was able to count Dips and other excercises that requiere minimum arm movements, still the watch manage to keep the count. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. While the watch did break after 4 months. They replaced it at no charge. So updated my review

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent navigator, but it is impossible to change the route without the Internet
Color: Lava
I use the watch as a navigator when hiking in the mountains. Route navigation is very convenient. The disadvantage is that it is impossible to download the route to the watch from a smartphone without an Internet connection. The COROS mobile app does not work offline with routes. If you need to change the route in places where there is no Internet, the watch becomes useless. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Mind blowing battery life!!!
Color: Lava
I made the switch to The Coros Vertix 2 from an Apple Watch Series 2. To say these aren’t even in the same category would be an understatement. The Coros has blown my mind with its battery life and ease of use. I initially charged it right after I got it and have proceeded with the following: Worn 24/7 including a week at Disney Completed 24 workouts for nearly 75 miles I still have 8% battery on the initial charge nearly 5 weeks ago! I had one event that I did run that was heavily wooded. I make note that the gps did not do as well on this course. I am not complaining as this is expected, but I make note of it to say that next time I will try the dual gps mode to see if accuracy is increased. I was only off by .25 mile, but in this 5k race it skewed the stats a bit. Just wish I had thought to switch to that before the run. The readout and functionality is incredible and I absolutely love the watch. Wish I had made the switch sooner! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Love this watch!
Color: Lava
Haven't had the chance yet to put this thing to the test on summer adventures, but just playing around on shorter hikes and trail runs, this thing has been amazing. My previous watch was a Garmin Fenix 5. The Garmin seems like it has more features, but I found I never used most of them. The Coros is very intuitive and has already prompted me to use the maps feature, navigation, and I've gained info on my sleep patterns. Not to mention the battery life on this watch is incredible. I've owned Garmin watches for about 15 years now (with one Suunto experience in there...) and many people in the trail/ultra running community (myself included) have long been asking for better battery life and satellite accuracy. Well, looks like Coros got the message and I'm a full on convert. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Adventure Watch!
Color: Lava
Premium build quality, akin to high end Garmin Fenix unit. Unbeatable battery life. COROS is less feature rich than Garmin (especially on higher end units), but their features are well implemented. Garmin watches often double as a daily fitness and health tracker. COROS have some of those metrics, but are more of a “tool” in many ways. Which is exactly what I am looking for. This watch is often compared to the $999 Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar. In materials, this is a fair comparison, but the Vertix 2 is not as feature rich. BUT, it is also $300 cheaper. Honestly, this watch is best compared to a Garmin Enduro, and is pretty superior / cheaper in many ways (mapping, basic music, battery life, build materials). ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Best GPS Mapping Watch on the market
Color: Lava
This product has a lot in common with a lot of other big names on the market. Surprisingly though, for a start up company it does a handful of things better than any of them. I used to have a competitor brand that everyone knows. And it was a solid watch. But the battery life on the competitors can not touch this unit. This does 140 hrs straight GPS. And 90 pining it all frequencies and 50hrs on Dual Frequencies simultaneously. Not to mention the mapping on it is way easier to use than a 5 button scheme. The digital dial with a touch screen makes viewing an upcoming route really great. All in all, shower glad I bought it and would recommend to anyone looking for this type of watch. ... show more
