This cork board roll ended up being one of those products that can be used for a lot more than you first expect. Of course it works well for the obvious things like pinning up notes, photos, reminders, and little message areas, but it also feels like the kind of material that invites you to get creative. Since it comes in a roll, you can trim it down and use it in different ways instead of being stuck with one fixed board size. What I like is that the cork has a nice thickness to it and does not feel flimsy. Pins go in well, and the surface seems durable enough to handle being used over and over without falling apart right away. The texture also feels nicer than some cheaper cork products that look rough or crumbly. This one feels a little more polished and useful for both practical and decorative projects. Because it is trimmable, it opens the door for a lot of DIY uses. It would be great for a custom bulletin area, a craft wall, backing for a small project, drawer or tabletop protection, or even those random little household fixes where you need something to level, cushion, or stabilize. I always like products that are not limited to just one purpose, and this definitely feels like one of them. The only thing to keep in mind is that this is not self-adhesive, so you will need to figure out how you want to attach it depending on the project. But overall, I think this is a handy roll to have around for crafts, home projects, and creative problem-solving. It is thick, easy to cut, and versatile enough that you will probably find more uses for it than you planned. Comes rolled, so may take two hands to install. Other than that is easy to install.

It's a lot of high quality and high density cork material. I got the "small" version and even that still has some heft to it. People who are in the market for bulk cork material AND plan to cut it up into smaller pieces to make coasters or whatever should definitely give this cork board roll a try. However, people who are like me and are hoping to use it as one big desk mat may want to keep looking. The reason why is that the roll comes rolled too tight and if you try to unroll and flatten it then the cork will break apart at the tightest spot which is unfortunately what happened to me. It doesn't look too bad most of the time but the crease is definitely present and as a perfectionist it does bother me quite a bit. What also bothered me was the fact that the shoddy little plastic baggie containing the push pins broke apart and all of the push pins were loose inside the box. Some even fell out during unboxing and embedded themselves in my carpet. Overall, I would say that it's still a solid product and worth taking a gamble. The price is very competitive, quality outstanding, and the included push pins are a nice bonus. Just be aware that the cork roll comes tightly wound and you'll never get it to lay down perfectly flat.

Cork is one of my favorite materials, so this roll of 6mm thick cork was something I was excited about. This is obviously great for a cork board application but there are many other application that I was looking forward to. The cork itself is great quality. It is nice and thick and in general feels like a good sturdy roll. This should be as durable as any quality cork. This glues up like wood, so whether you are using double back tape, a spray adhesive, or even wood glue, this adheres very well. It is very easy to cut with a sharp knife or large sturdy scissors. I used this for lining a couple of trays and table small side table surfaces. It looks great and is very easy to put anywhere you want to see cork. The scrap pieces work as feet for furniture or coasters if the cutoffs are large enough. It is a really excellent material to work with and this is a good quantity to do a handful of small projects.

Very good product. 1/4" thick, it feels heavy and durable. It came rolled and had no gaps, wrinkles, or other imperfections. If you grab a corner and twist lightly, its nice and flexible. I got this to make a framed corkboard, but this will easily make two so I cut it in half with a drywall knife and straightedge. It took very little pressure and cut a neat 45 degree edge. The price was on the low end of most other 1/4" thick listings and I will definately buy again when needed for the quality and value.

The media could not be loaded. I’m impressed with this item-the roll is HUGE and the cork itself is pliable and quite thick. The surface is smooth, with the backside being just a slightly different texture (still fairly smooth). I wanted to make a lightweight cork board to shuffle around photos on my office wall, and this is a size that will allow me to easily make a massive board. To address some issues that other reviewers mentioned-yes, the cork comes on a roll, and yes that means it’s going to have some bend in it. That’s pretty unavoidable with a product that needs to be shipped on a roll, and would be impossible to get this large of a piece without rolling it. If you stretch the cork out onto a flat surface and weight it down for a couple days, it will relax a bit. Also, if you’re planning on applying any kind of rigid backing to create a cork board, the backing should help it not roll back up. I’m using gorilla adhesive spray and some heavy cardboard to create a lightweight rigid backing, and then I’ll add a thin/mostly decorative frame. I still have a massive amount of cork left, so I’ll probably find some other uses for it-but regardless it’s a high quality material and you get plenty for the price.
