I did not get the Corelle sets since I was eyeing this one (Even if the set would probably be more economical). I had 4 of this back home which I am still using now (got them a decade ago). Dishwasher safe. I use this as a plate when eating my meals and I don't need to worry about spillage. Durable and lasts long. The price you pay will last you maybe a lifetime so in the end, I guess it's worth it. My son also eats with this and lessens our cleaning after.
