This company makes a great quality, safe, and thin product. It has a lip that retains the comfortable use of forks, and knives and still keeps the spaghetti and sauce on your plate. It has a reasonable capacity, and lids are also sold to fit these bowls so you can easily put the leftovers away by putting the lids on and stacking them. I like the color, and appearance. Since these are made after 2005, the company says they are FDA compliant and have NO lead I. Them as some of their products made before 2005 did have lead. This product is hot out of the microwave, but cools down pretty quickly too. This company's products are great if you expect the dishes to be dropped frequently as they resist breaking and chipping. I love these pasta dishes. They are small enough to handle in your lap. They hold a decent amount. That being said, ideally they could be just a bit deeper to keep the food in (in my opinion) . I measured the volume because they seemed a little small to me and they hold exactly 30 ounces but there is no room at the top. They are exactly as stated so five stars.
