I had to invest in a couple of knock off Milwaukee batteries to even test this product, and I definitely need it for I have a lot of home painting projects fast approaching. I got the batteries yesterday from Amazon and tested the sprayer and it worked perfectly with the cheaper batteries. Tested water in it to see the different nozzle spray patterns, and it is easy to operate and change things out, which also will make it easier to clean out the sprayer between different spraying projects and after use whatsoever. It is fairly heavy especially with the 5.0a battery, you can get up to 9 to 12a batteries as well in that brand but they are not original Milwaukee brands but should work just fine, though the standard 2.0/3.0a batteries would make this easier to hold for longer periods of time. It's pretty loud like a hair dryer, but in preliminary testing it's still quieter than most air compressors hooked up to bucket sprayers. The price to value rating is good on this one only drawback is unless you are already invested in milwaukee cordless products you will need to buy batteries for it that even knock off brands aren't cheap.

This review is for the Cordless Paint Sprayer for Milwaukee 18V 20V Battery, 40000RPM High Speed Paint Sprayers for Home Interior and Exterior, HVLP Spray Paint Gun for House Furniture Painting (Battery Not Included). We got this for a couple of small painting projects and are satisfied with the performance of the sprayer even though we are absolute beginners. We managed to make not-too-big-a-mess with our first wall painting project, two different colors, taking the wall from one deep color to a different deep color and a light color. We did use a roller to paint a coat of primer on the wall that was going to a light color, just because it would take too many layers to block out the original color. Cleanup wasn't as bad as we thought, we studied the instructions and watched some videos so we were prepared when we finished the painting. We'll probably keep this for future paint jobs, so it seems like a good choice for our very light usage.
